Stone has denied having any advance knowledge of WikiLeaks releases."I never discussed any of this with Donald Trump. It's one of the questions that Mr. Mueller wants the President to answer -- one of the written questions. I'm highly confident that his answer will be that he knew nothing about it. We just never discussed it," Stone recently told CNN.Stone's denial matches with what Trump told Mueller: that the two never spoke about WikiLeaks.Trump vehemently denies colluding with Russia. He told The Associated Press in an interview last year, "When WikiLeaks came out ... never heard of WikiLeaks, never heard of it. When WikiLeaks came out, all I was just saying is, 'Well, look at all this information here, this is pretty good stuff.'"On the 2016 Trump Tower meeting, the President has publicly said he didn't know about the meeting."I did NOT know of the meeting with my son, Don Jr," Trump tweeted in July.The President's son told lawmakers he did not tell his father about the meeting in advance. RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - California Highway Patrol officers believe drugs or alcohol are likely factors in a crash that injured three people Tuesday near State Route 67 west of Ramona. A truck and two cars collided on Dye Road at Lansdown Lane about 4:30 p.m., the CHP reported. The white Mercedes had been traveling west on Dye Road and speeding when it crossed into oncoming traffic, witnesses told the CHP.The Mercedes clipped a blue Subaru and hit a Toyota Tacoma pickup head-on, officers said.The crash blocked the roadway and sent debris across lanes. Video from Sky10 showed the front end of the Mercedes was missing, and the roof of the truck was sheared off.Cal Fire crews, possibly from the Ramona station two-tenths of a mile away, were seen rescuing a person from a 77-year-old man from the seat of the truck. The men in the Mercedes and the truck suffered major injuries, the CHP confirmed. The woman in the Subaru had minor injuries. Helicopters landed in a nearby field to take patients to the hospital. The CHP announced a closure of the area at 5:16 p.m. Neighbors who live in the area say Dye Road is a dangerous road because no one drives the posted 55 mph speed limit. 1196

RAMONA (KGTV)— Representative Duncan Hunter -R (CA-50) kicked off his Memorial Day weekend in Ramona, at a town hall-style meeting. He and his father, former Congressman Duncan Hunter Sr. - R were guest speakers at "The Border: Then and Now!" event, hosted by a conservative group, American Liberty Forum- Ramona. The elder Hunter remembered San Ysidro during his early years in Congress in the 1980s and 1990s. "The border was a no-man's land. And everybody knows that here, that you didn't go to the border when it was close to being dark," Hunter Sr. said. Border Patrol statistics showed in 1986, San Diego agents apprehended nearly 630,000 people attempting to cross the border illegally. But double-layer fencing dropped that number to close to 32,000 arrests in 2016. They also argued that crime numbers dipped, and the economy boomed in that time. Because of these, both Hunters said they support the President's Border Wall plan. "If you can move troops to Syria, then you can move troops to the border, and build a wall on the border, and say it is in the interest of national security," the current Congressman said. But Friday, a federal judge temporarily blocked the President's plan to transfer military funds to build more border fencing. This was something that the Congressman did not agree with. "His lawyers need to fight it. They need to do it now, and it should go up to the Supreme Court," Hunter said. Hunter also told the audience at Ramona MainStage that he is on board with the President's new merit-based immigration policy. "You get to come here, if you're worth having here," Hunter Jr. said. "I know that sounds mean, but just because you want to come here from another country, doesn't mean you get to."When asked about agricultural and construction jobs, Hunter Jr. admitted that they need to work on special provisions."We understand the needs especially in California and other agricultural states, where they need people to work here, and most Americans don't want those jobs, and they're not going to to do those jobs," Hunter said. "So how do you do that? how do you do it so that the people who are coming here can't be taken advantage of, so they have to go home and check in?" he asked. 2235

QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — Conversations have been forced to change in children's classrooms. Many adults remember simply learning about a basic fire drill or what to do in a lockdown.But today, many teachers are having to teach kids what to do in case of an active shooter. Another safety net that is being used in places around Arizona, including Queen Creek Unified School District, is a donated, repurposed tool from the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department: fire hoses. "They're cut into a certain segment. They are perfect to go over the hinges of our doors and that just adds this extra layer of security to our classroom," said Newell Barney Middle School science teacher Tammi Brewster. Brewster explained how the recycled and donated fire hoses from the fire department become a deterrent for any "bad guys" trying to get into a classroom and are now a part of their lockdown procedure called ALICE. ALICE stands for alert, lockdown, inform, counter and evacuate. Brewster said that the fire hose is part of a larger conversation with students regarding school shootings. It helps explain the procedure for active shooter or lockdown drills in a way that does not scare them, but empowers them. "It gives them a relief that, 'OK, all of this is going on in the news, in our society and I have choices I can make. I don't have to sit in a corner and be scared,' '' Brewster said. "The schools have their processes and their programs in place for a lockdown," said Queen Creek Fire Chief Vance Gray. "What we wanted to do was just assist by adding another layer of protection for the teachers and the students and the schools." Gray said his two children went to one of the schools where he has donated these fire hoses.While it is a piece of equipment he never hoped he would have to pass out, he knows taking action is the only thing to do. "If you can't change the way things are and make them exactly how you want them to be, then the best thing you can do is prepare," Gray said. He said they will continue donating their fire hoses whenever they go out of service.  2169
