(KGTV) — Police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing man who suffers from Alzheimer's disease.Police say 87-year-old Romy Castro disappeared from his South Escondido home off Brotherton Rd. sometime between the evening of Dec. 19 and Dec. 20. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, tan jacket, black pants, and black moccasins. He also wears black eye glasses.Castro is described as having black and gray hair, brown eyes, stands about 5-foot 3-inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds.Anyone with information regarding Castro's wearabouts is asked to call Escondido Police at 760-839-4970. 714

Victoria's Secret CEO Jan Singer has resigned amid a sales slump and competition from young companies challenging the brand's grip on the lingerie industry.The Wall Street Journal first reported Singer's departure last week. Victoria's Secret parent company L Brands (LB) made it official during its quarterly earnings release.John Mehas, now the president of Tory Burch, will take over as CEO of Victoria's Secret Lingerie early next year, the company said.Sales at Victoria's Secret stores that have been open for at least a year dropped 6% last quarter. Victoria's Secret has close to 1,000 stores in the United States, many of them tied to struggling malls.Last year, Victoria Secret's same-store sales in North America fell 8% in part because of the company's decision to stop selling swimwear and clothing."Our number one priority is improving performance at Victoria's Secret Lingerie and PINK," said Leslie Wexner, Chairman and CEO of L Brands. "We could not be more excited for [Mehas] to lead Victoria's Secret Lingerie to a new phase of success."Singer took over in 2016 after a stint at Spanx. She worked at Nike (NKE) for more than a decade.Victoria's Secret has been struggling to keep up with changing consumer tastes. Flashy fashion shows, push-up bras and celebrity models aren't drawing people in like they used to. UPS has reportedly relaxed its rules on facial hair and now allowing natural Black hairstyles.According to CNN and the Wall Street Journal, the rules on facial hair were that beards were not allowed for most employees, and the company limited mustaches to above the lip's crease.The shipping company also stated men couldn't have hair below the collar and no afros or braids.UPS geared the old guidelines more towards drivers and other staff who interacted with the public, the WSJ reported.On Wednesday, the shipping company eliminated those strict rules on people's appearance, along with gender-specific regulations, including regulations like the length of the uniform's shorts. 690

United Airlines is looking to add flights to their schedule in October, including resuming previously canceled trips and adding new ones.According to the airline, this will bring them up to flying 40 percent of their full schedule in October compared to October 2019. In September, they are only expecting to fly 34 percent of their full schedule.The news comes a week after the airline announced it will furlough more than 16,000 employees in October. That’s when federal bailout money from the federal government expires.The resumed flights include eight routes to Hawaii, “pending approval of the state’s pre-arrival COVID testing program.” Hawaii recently extended their out-of-state visitors ban to October 1. Once they allow visitors and tourists again, travelers must fill out a “safe travels” form and go through pandemic screening measures."We continue to be data-driven and realistic in our approach to rebuilding our network," Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning said in a press release. "Because October is typically a slower month for leisure travel, we're adjusting our schedules to reflect these seasonal changes in customer demand while resuming service or adding capacity on routes where we're seeing increased customer demand for travel."Some of those “data-driven” decisions may have led United to realign their schedule to match “current demand for leisure travel.” The airline says in October they will add more flights on days popular with leisure travelers looking for a long weekend getaway, and will schedule fewer flights on days where demand is lower.Other changes and additions in October include:Resuming or starting new service on nearly 50 routes in the US; mostly from United’s hubs in Chicago, Denver and Houston.Resuming additional service to Florida and along the west coast.Resuming service to 14 international destinations, including parts of South America and Mexico.United was one of the airlines last week who announced they will be permanently eliminating change fees on flights within the US. Two students are injured — one of which is in critical condition — after a school shooting took place Tuesday at Great Mills High School in southern Maryland.The gunman died following the attack according to police officials.Jonathan Freese, a student at Great Mills, told CNN he was in lockdown in his math class. Police were going through classrooms to clear the school, and students will then be escorted out of the school, Freese said."I'm still a little shaken up," he said.Freese said the school had held drills a couple of times for this kind of situation."I didn't really expect for this to happen. I do always feel safe, though, because they always have police at the school," he said.According to CNN's research, there have been 16 confirmed school shootings this year in the United States prior to today.  Great Mills High School has an enrollment of just over 1,500 students, and the student body was about 56% minority students and had a four-year graduation rate of 91%, according to the school's 2015-16 improvement plan.Last week, students at Great Mills High School walked out of class as part of a student-led protest against school violence in the wake of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.Al Murray shot video of police responding to the shooting at the high school Tuesday.
