Four people were killed and six more wounded when “unknown suspects” sneaked into a backyard filled with people at a party in central California and fired into the crowd, police said.The shooting took place about 6 p.m. on the Fresno’s southeast side, where people were gathered to watch a football game, Fresno Police Lt. Ford is recalling 1.2 million Explorers over a problem with their suspensions.The recalled SUVs are from model years 2011 through 2017. Ford said that cars frequently ride over rough terrain may experience a fractured toe link on their rear suspension, which can affect steering and increase the risk of an accident. Ford said one customer reported hitting a curb when the toe link broke, but it is not aware of any related injuries.Ford said it will spend about 0 million to fix the problem, which will be done at no cost to the cars' owners.Ford also announced three other smaller recalls. One is a recall of 12,000 Ford Taurus and Flex cars as well as Lincoln MKS and MKT vehicles sold in Canada. They have a similar problem with their toe links. The Michigan mothers says the venue ultimately did right by her but it wasn't until after the concert. She hopes other businesses will educate themselves so other mothers won't have the same experience. “I had called before the Ariana Grande concert to make sure that my breast pump would be able to be brought into the facility," Kate Aulette said. "‘Absolutely, it’s a medical device. You’ll have no problems bringing it in.’"But that turned out not to be the case after the 2017 bombing attack at one of Grande's concerts in Manchester, England. Twenty-two people were killed and more than 100 people were injured. “The gentleman had said, ‘No. We’re not going to allow you to bring that in. You would need to have your baby with you if you wanted to bring that device in,’ " Aulette said.
