Walt Disney World in Florida will start reducing their hours on September 8.According to the calendar on its website, Magic Kingdom will close at 6 p.m. and Hollywood Studios will shut down at 7 p.m., which is an hour early than usual.Magic Kingdom will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while Hollywood Studios will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.Epcot will empty out at 7 p.m., two hours sooner than they usually close. VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Thursday for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl while she rode in an ambulance. The California Highway Patrol launched an investigation into the Feb. 21, 2017 incident involving 34-year-old David Carpio, a private ambulance company employee. The girl was being transported to Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside when Carpio assaulted her and asked for her Snapchat information to start a relationship with her, investigators said. A CHP investigator posing as the girl communicated with Carpio through social media and text messages over several months, during which time officials gained damaging information. Other alleged female victims also came forward with claims against Carpio, saying he had sexually assaulted them when he was their neighbor. One of the women was 16 years old at the time of the encounter. Carpio pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges and was sentenced Thursday for sexual penetration of a minor and sexual battery. 1022

(KGTV) — Two people were arrested this week after a pursuit took authorities from Valley Center into unincorporated Escondido.San Diego Sheriff's Department says the pursuit began just after 9 p.m. near State route 76 near Pala Mission Rd. after a deputy spotted a stolen truck. When the deputy tried to pull the truck over, the deputy says the drier sped off.The chase reached speeds of 90 miles per hour and lasted about 30 minutes, with deputies from Fallbrook and San Marcos assisting in the chase.A spike strip was used and put an end to the chase near the Mountain Meadows community of unincorporated Escondido, the department said.After hitting the curb, the driver put the truck in reverse and rammed into a Sheriff's patrol car, deputies say.No deputies were hurt.The female driver and male passenger of the truck, identified as Sally Arrellanes and Roy James Duncan, were arrested and charged with felony evading, assault with a deadly weapon likely to result in great bodily injury, vehicle theft, conspiracy to commit crime and possession of a stolen vehicle. 1093
