Hope, San Diego Police said.A 27-year-old woman was taken to the hospital, along with her 16-year-old brother. Her brother was also stabbed when he tried to intervene in the fight and defend his sister. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A sea lion pup in Encinitas was saved Tuesday from a diver's mask that was tightly wrapped around its neck.The year-old sea lion pup was found at Swami's Beach with a diver's mask wrapped around its neck. The sea lion, which only weighed about 32 pounds, appeared malnourished and dehydrated, according to SeaWorld rescue team members.The mask had been wrapped around the sea lion's neck for weeks, preventing the pup from foraging and eating.RELATED: Sea lion lies down in front of San Diego hotel's sign, refuses to budgeHad the mask remained on the pup, the animal would likely have eventually starved to death or been strangled by the mask, crews said.Rescue team members cut the mask off the sea lion, but found that a wound caused by the mask had become infected. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A woman was shot multiple times during a dispute over a transaction in the Encanto area, San Diego police said Monday morning.Police said the incident occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in the 6100 Imperial Avenue.According to police, a woman in her 30s suffered several gunshot wounds to her arm and one to her stomach. Her injuries are not considered life threatening, police said.Police said the woman was shot by a man during what was described as a dispute over a transaction. The man was described as a Black man in his 30s, 6 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing 210 pounds.He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and blue jeans.No other details were released. 684

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - An Uber driver helped a Lyft driver after a crash on Interstate 8 in Mission Valley Monday.The Uber driver told 10News he was exiting eastbound I-8 at Mission Gorge Rd. at 1:45 a.m. when he saw an SUV on its side, blocking the road.The man turned on his hazard lights and used his Uber car to block the road while he ran to help, he said.The Lyft driver was trapped and screaming for help, according to the man.The Uber driver said he kicked the windshield until he formed a hole the Lyft driver could climb through.Paramedics took the Lyft driver to the hospital with cuts and bruises.CHP officers are investigating the cause of the crash.The Lyft driver was not arrested but told the CHP his 'mind wasn't working', according to Officer Jim Bettencourt. 806
