GLENDALE, Wisconsin -- A woman filed a civil lawsuit against four members of the Glendale Police Department. The suit filed in federal court is demanding million.She claims the investigation into a dog attack that took place in March 2017 was not handled properly. The suit claims the woman was attacked by a 3-year-old Presa Canario and suffered injuries to her head, back and wrist that required more than 140 medical treatments, including 11 staples in her scalp, puncture wounds on her back and an injured wrist, which needed three surgeries to fix.A police report from the incident claims that her hand was "completely covered in blood and her hair appeared to be blood soaked."The woman also claimed the attack resulted in emotional trauma.The dog qas temporarily quarantined for 10 days. The woman also claims that police were not aware of procedure for dog attacks.The woman no charges were filed in the incident, and when she called repeatedly for an update in the investigation, a sergeant told her that "f you don't like the way we handle this get yourself an attorney and sue us."Both the Glendale police chief and the city's attorney declined to comment, citing pending litigation.Glendale City Attorney John Fuchs issued the following statement."She went into the dog's yard and approached the dog. We’re suggesting we are a part of a broader arsenal of products that need to be implemented in order to bring us back to some form of normalcy,” Zurevinski added.Zurevinski also knew that if you couldn't move people through the machine quickly, it wouldn't matter.It takes about eight seconds for one person to get a person disinfected in the Sani Pass. The company estimates they could get 55,000 people into a stadium in just 90 minutes.“I wanted to get people back into arena, back into theatres, back into stadiums. GREENCASTLE, Indiana — Protesters at DePauw University in Indiana interrupted a press conference meant to discuss recent racist writings on and near campus, one day after students demonstrated at an on-campus event led by actress Jenna Fischer. After five incidents of racial slurs were written across campus in the last two weeks, protesters interrupted actress Jenna Fischer's talk Tuesday night. On Wednesday, university officials held a press conference to discuss the incidents and Tuesday's protest. About 10 minutes into the press conference Wednesday, DePauw President Mark McCoy learned about protesters outside the doors, wanting inside. McCoy and the other officials allowed the protesters inside, where they chanted, "Meet our demands. We are not safe." For about 20 more minutes, McCoy and the group discussed the incidents, and what the university is doing to stop future incidents from happening. "We are all together addressing every issue that has happened on this campus," McCoy said. "We are committed to addressing these issues. It is bringing shop class back for the next ten years. The trade skills are for jobs like plumbers, electricians and carpenters just to name a few.The training program at Home Depot will be offered to veterans and underserved high schoolers nationwide, and you don't have to work for Home Depot.As for Lowe's, its training program is called “Track to the Trades” and it’s for current employees.The program will offer employees financial assistance to pursue certifications for trade skills and receive additional academic coaching. Health officials in Maryland have reported two more cases of severe bleeding problems in people who used synthetic marijuana.That brings the state's total to three patients so far.It's known as K2 or spice and can be sold as liquids for use in E-cigarettes.It has caused bleeding in more than 100 others in at least four other states.
