(KGTV) — Cameras caught a thief wreaking havoc at an East County business park, culminating in several destructive acts after he realized he was locked in.Scott Trafton has seen the video countless times, but his emotions have yet to lessen."Aggravating and makes me angry," said Trafton, who owns XP Builders.Just before midnight last Thursday night, a truck is seen driving into a business park on Wheatlands Court. The truck, believed to be a Chevy Silverado, is parked in the dark for more than four hours, before a man emerges and heads toward Trafton's general contractor business. In the video, the man grabs items from the truck bed, before prying open a toolbox in the back. A knife at this side, the man would get away with more than a thousand dollars with of Trafton's tools. "It hurts being a small business. Every penny counts," said Trafton.Trafton is not the only victim. The thief left behind a trail of shattered truck windows and missing items."Basically took whatever wasn't bolted down," said Trafton.When the man went to leave, he was met by a gate, locked by someone who had left earlier. The camera spies him apparently chaining his truck to the fence and pulling forward, but he can't get the fence down."He then came over to another truck and broke a window. (KGTV) — Four Congressmen, including House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Scott Peters, Juan Vargas, and Mike Levin, participated in an all-access tour of the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry Friday afternoon. Upon finishing the tour, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland said sternly, “There is no crisis at the border. There is no justification for an emergency declaration at the border.” This was a direct contradiction to President Trump's reasoning to build a southern border wall. It has been almost one month since the Department of Homeland Security began implementing the new Migrant Protection Protocol (MPP). The policy forces migrants from Central and South America entering the United States without papers, or those claiming asylum, to in Mexico for the duration of their immigration proceedings. (KGTV) -- Kelley Keatly and her husband were walking in their San Marcos neighborhood Wednesday morning when something caught their attention.They noticed a red sticker stuck to an electrical box. When they looked closer, they saw a message of hate, one that read: “The symbol of white resistance.”The sticker included a link to a website filled with hatred - towards Jews, African Americans, and the LGBTQ community.ABC 10News is not identifying the group.“Really I just see it as an act of pure evil, and it has no place in my community, it has no place in any community,” Keatly said.Keatly took the sticker and posted an image of it on a neighborhood Facebook page. Melissa Burgess saw the post and then found four - on electric boxes and traffic lights, including ones near San Elijo Elementary and Middle schools, where her children attend.“I came home, I was shaking just from anger and pain and hurt and just all of that from having seen that here in my community,” she said.Then, even more neighbors found the stickers, including on the back of Stop signs.The stickers come after a recent spate of hate-inspired incidents in the county, including people wearing swastika face masks to grocery stores, and another driving with a Nazi flag.Tammy Gillies, who heads the San Diego Anti-Defamation League, says it’s vital to report all incidents.“You have one person that can be radicalized on the Internet, one person that is drawn to look at a website through these fliers or these stickers and goes down a wrong path, so it is very concerning,” Gillies said.She alluded to last year's deadly shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue, allegedly carried out by a 19-year-old radicalized online.The Sheriff's Department says a total of seven stickers were located.
