BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang called for heightened cooperation with the United Nations (UN) to promote world peace, stability and prosperity.
Exports would increase 20 billion U.S. dollars while imports would grow 19.8 billion U.S. dollars in the region if member countries cut customs clearance time by 25 percent, benefiting all member countries, especially Central Asian nations and Pakistan, the report added.
He noted Uzbekistan will continue adhering to the one-China policy and support China's efforts in combating the "three evil forces" of terrorism, separatism and extremism.
He also called for joint efforts from the two countries to promote stability, opening-up, international trade and investment, sending a positive signal to the world.
The Basic Law is a good law which accords the actual conditions of the nation and the HKSAR and is able to provide a fundamental guarantee for the great cause of "one country, two systems" and withstand the test of practice, Zhang said.
