(CNN) -- Two of three children who went missing after floodwater swept up their vehicle in central Arizona have been found dead, the Gila County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.The search continues for the third child, authorities said.The children vanished Friday when a car crossing Tonto Creek, about 60 miles west of the New Mexico border, was caught in flooding around 4 p.m. local time, Gila County Undersheriff Mike Johnson said.Four children and one adult managed to get out of the vehicle and were stranded on an island in the creek, where they were rescued by a helicopter from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Johnson said.A woman who was in the water also got out, but three children were unaccounted for, the undersheriff said.The children and two adults were all in the car together when it was overtaken by floodwater, Johnson told CNN. (KGTV) - An 18-year-old San Diego woman died and her 16-year-old cousin and a man were injured in a crash on Interstate 10 on the way to the Coachella Music Festival in Indio, a friend told 10News.Federico Pedrazzini confirmed Ginevra Gallone-Latte died in the crash in Banning early Thursday morning. Her cousin Manuela was injured.The California Highway Patrol said 21-year-old Cesar Hernandezozuna was speeding when his BMW drifted onto the dirt shoulder. The driver tried to get back onto the freeway but went over an embankment and hit two trees, officers said.The crash split the car in two. Gallone-Latte was thrown and died at the scene, according to the CHP.Her cousin was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Hernandezozuna suffered a facial injury, according to the CHP.Both teens had previously attended La Jolla High School.Officers ruled out alcohol and drugs as contributing factors in the crash but had not determined the cause, the CHP said. 979

(KGTV) - A U.S. Navy fighter jet crashed Wednesday morning near Naval Weapons Station China Lake in Central California, military officials said. The single-seat F/A-18E Super Hornet went down about 10 a.m. in Inyo County, Navy officials posted on Twitter. The jet, based at Naval Air Station Lemoore, was on a routine training flight. The cause of the crash is unknown.Death Valley National Park's public information officer Patrick Taylor said he received a call from the Panamint Springs Resort in Darwin of a military plane crash on the west side of Death Valley, near Father Crowley Overlook. The area is also known as "Star Wars Canyon" because the manuevers jets perform are similar to those in the film's battle scenes."We saw the smoke from it," an employee of the resort told 10News.There was no immediate word on the status of the pilot. Two aircraft were flying at the time, but the other pilot likely did not see the crash.Seven park visitors received minor injuries as a result of the crash.A search-and-rescue helicopter was sent to the scene, CNN reported. NWS China Lake and Inyo County sent officers to the area to guard the crash site, Taylor said. Temperatures at the crash site were in the low 100s Wednesday.The jet was part of VFA-151, a squadron belonging to Carrier Air Wing 9 and attached to USS John C. Now, they're offering ,000 to whoever helps nab the suspects.Over the last three months, Bureau of Land Management officials have found the bodies of 42 donkeys covered in gunshot wounds near the California-Nevada border. They were killed illegally in the Clark Mountain Herd Area."We will pursue every lead until we've arrested and prosecuted those responsible for these cruel, savage deaths, and we welcome the public's help to bring the perpetrator or perpetrators to justice," BLM deputy director for policy and programs William Perry Pendley said.Under the Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act, burros are protected as "living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West." As such, they can't be killed, harassed, captured or branded in 10 Western states controlled by the Department of the Interior or the US Forest Service.Details about the crimes are slim, but BLM officials told the Los Angeles Times a few of the burros were killed while drinking water from nearby springs. (KGTV) — Disney is delaying plans to reopen Disneyland and California Adventure in July, saying state guidelines will not be issued soon enough to prepare its parks to welcome back guests.Earlier this month, Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure Park were slated to reopen on July 17 after being shuttered since March. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel plan were to reopen on July 23. The company now says guidelines from the state are not expected "until sometime after July 4.""Given the time required for us to bring thousands of cast members back to work and restart our business, we have no choice but to delay the reopening of our theme parks and resort hotels until we receive approval from government officials," a company statement read.Downtown Disney is still scheduled to reopen in Anaheim on July 9 with health and safety precautions in place, according to the company. Disney said Downtown Disney's reopening had been previously approved under California's restaurant and retail guidelines for reopening."Once we have a clearer understanding of when guidelines will be released, we expect to be able to communicate a reopening date," the statement said in regards to the parks.Disney added that is has signed agreements from 20 union affiliates representing cast members to return employees to work at the theme parks.The company's plans to reopen California parks mirror that of its parks that have reopened in Florida and China. Disney said the parks will plan to limit attendance using a reservation system in order to prevent overcrowd and encourage distancing between guests. Park experiences like parades, nighttime shows, and character meet-and-greets would also be temporarily suspended. Characters will still roam around the park, Disney said."Because theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing, the Disneyland Resort will manage attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests, including Annual Passholders, to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance," the park said on its official blog. "Once approved, the Disneyland Resort will reopen with enhanced health and safety measures.
