A White House official showed CNN documents that the official claims exonerate Dr. Ronny Jackson from some allegations that he inappropriately dispensed pills and that he wrecked a government vehicle after leaving a Secret Service going-away party.The official said Jackson has returned to the White House Medical Unit but has not returned as President Donald Trump's physician. The incident reports involve a bus striking Jackson's government vehicle, a car rear-ending his vehicle and a road rage incident involving another driver banging on Jackson's window. There is no evidence in the documents provided that Jackson was drinking on the job. The official says, "there would have to be a massive cover-up or government conspiracy for him to crash a government vehicle without any paperwork."Other records provided are six audits from Walter Reed Medical Center over the last two and a half years that shows the White House Medical Unit was in compliance with securely storing prescription drugs. The routine audits did make procedural recommendations aside from being in compliance with storing medication."There is nothing [in these documents] that would make you think 'candy man' is appropriate," the official said, referring to Democratic Montana Sen. AKRON, Ohio - The Akron Police Department is investigating a viral video that shows officers using a Taser on a man and punching him while he was on the ground during an arrest.The video, captured by a neighbor, shows one officer punching the man multiple times.Warning: The video below includes images and language that some users may find disturbing.Akron police said they saw the man, who they identified as 47-year-old Patrick King, coming out of a known drug house Sunday. They made an investigative stop while he was walking down the street.King gave false information about his identity, an Akron police official said. An officer tried to detain him and got a handcuff on one of his hands. King then resisted by trying to run away, pulling away, tensing up and refusing all verbal commands, the official said.A neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous, captured the incident on video and posted it to Facebook – it’s since been shared over 3,000 times and viewed over 147,000 times.The neighbor felt the officers went too far."As soon as they put the one handcuff on him, that's when they got to throwing him around and slamming him and beating on him and stuff like that," he said.Akron police said they arrested King and charged him with tampering with evidence, resisting arrest, misrepresenting identity, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse. King also had an active warrant out of Cuyahoga County for a parole violation.Akron police said they have begun a use of force investigation into this incident. Akron officials have not identified the officers who were involved. Deputy Chief Jesse Leeser said King is 6-feet-4 and 220 pounds and the officers were winded trying to get him under control."Officers used force to include tasing, strikes and pressure points," Leeser said. "He was obviously actively fighting with these officers. The fight had gone to the ground. Not only did he have that handcuff as a weapon possibly, but the officers were also exposed. About 350,000 Ring doorbells are being recalled after reports some of them caught fire, and a handful of customers received minor burns.The 2nd generation Ring video doorbell cameras were sold for 0 between June and October of this year. The recall is of the Ring Video Doorbell model number 5UM5E5 smart doorbell cameras. CPSC describes the model as having a blue ring at the front, and coming in two colors, 'satin nickel,' which is black and silver, and 'venetian bronze,' also known as black and bronze. The models were sold with a mounting bracket and a USB charging cable.Ring is a subsidiary of Amazon and makes internet-connected home devices.The Consumer Product Safety Commission posted a notice on Tuesday explaining the recall. The device’s battery “can overheat when the incorrect screws are used for installation,” the CPSC stated.“Ring has received 85 incident reports of incorrect doorbell screws installed with 23 of those doorbells igniting, resulting in minor property damage. A woman was thrown from a vehicle on I-10 south of Eloy, Arizona. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to a crash on eastbound Interstate 10 near Picacho, just after 11:30 p.m. on Sunday. Troopers received 911 calls about the incident, and one caller told DPS a woman was thrown from a vehicle. When troopers arrived on the scene they found a woman in her twenties who had been killed. The body was found on the right shoulder. The victim has not been identified. According to DPS, the suspect was traveling in a white Volkswagen sedan. No other suspect description has been given. The eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 were closed near Eloy for about seven hours, but have since reopened.   784
