It was also changed to state that if a school does put up such a poster, they must raise the funds on their own – instead of using public funds.If the bill sounds familiar, it’s because Kruse introduced a similar bill last year. Last year’s bill also called for every school including a study of the Bible as an elective course in its curriculum. The 2019 bill was vastly different at the end of the process than the one Kruse initially introduced.Sen. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The U.S. Coast Guard, along with partner agencies, is searching for two firefighters who are missing after they were due to return from boating on Friday evening. Officials say Brian McCluney and Justin Walker were last seen leaving a Port Canaveral boat ramp in Florida on Friday morning in a 24-foot center console. According to the Coast Guard, the two men were heading toward 8A Reef, a popular fishing spot. The search is being concentrated on the Gulf Stream area by the Coast Guard, while good Samaritans have been concentrating 1-15 miles offshore. 590

In a press conference updating media members on the events of the Aug. 4 mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, police chief Richard Biehl said the Dayton police department was updating the casualty count of those injured or killed by gunshots to 26.Previously, police had said that nine people were killed and 14 people were injured by gunshot wounds. Police now say 17 suffered gunshot injuries.The count does not include those who suffered injuries while trying to escape the gunman.During Tuesday's press conference Biehl walked media members through an updated timeline of the shooting.
