Comedian Jay Leno is making his way back to television.Next fall, Leno will host the revival of the comedy show "You Bet Your Life," Fox Television Stations announced in a press release."We need a familiar face to make us laugh, and we are incredibly proud and excited to reinvent this renowned franchise with the enormously talented Jay," stated Jack Abernethy, CEO, FOX Television Stations in the press release.Comedy legend Groucho Marx was the host of the legendary show more than a half-century ago."I'm thrilled to be hosting the latest version of 'You Bet Your Life,' Leno said. CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) - Coronado residents heard a plan from the Port of San Diego Monday night that would allow for 350 new hotel rooms to be built on the island.Those who showed up were not happy.“Most of the residents don’t want this development to happen,” said resident Kelly Sarber. “The city can’t really handle what we're dealing with right now,” she added, referring to the island’s notorious traffic.The new proposal is part of an update to the Port’s master plan, which includes 2,403 acres of land across 34 miles of waterfront around San Diego Bay.In Coronado, the new master plan would allow for 350 hotel rooms to be built in the north Coronado subdistrict, which includes the Ferry Landing and the area occupied by the existing Marriot Hotel.“What this plan sets out is potential growth for next 30 years,” said Lesley Nishihira, planning director for the Port.She said currently they have not received a plan from a developer to actually build a hotel on the Ferry Landing property. However, if approved, the updated master plan would allow for one to be built eventually. Though, any project proposal would also have to go through a public review period.The comment period for the Master Plan draft goes through July 31. CINCINNATI (AP) — The Hall of Fame second baseman Joe Morgan has died at the age of 77.A family spokesman says he died at his home Sunday in Danville, California.Morgan was suffering from a nerve condition, a form of polyneuropathy. He became the sparkplug of the Big Red Machine and the prototype for baseball’s artificial turf era.Morgan was a two-time NL Most Valuable Player, a 10-time All-Star, and won five Gold Gloves. CLEVELAND — A Cleveland school security guard who was charged with rape, accused of soliciting and sexually assaulting multiple students, was reported for inappropriate behavior to Cleveland Metropolitan School District months before he was arrested. Derrick Dugger, 29, a security guard at East Technical High School in Cleveland is due back in court Tuesday morning for the charges. According to court records, investigators said he forced a 15-year-old girl to perform oral sex and sent inappropriate messages to students. A detective wrote in the report that Dugger was “predatory” and “a danger to these young ladies.”Dugger was formally charged with rape last week after an investigation began earlier in November, but one Cleveland family told Scripps affiliate WEWS-TV that they reported him months before.According to Joyce Swann, her 15-year-old daughter who has special needs made a complaint about Dugger soon after the school year began at East Technical High School.A CMSD report of that complaint obtained by WEWS is dated September 7 — more than 2 months before Dugger was charged.In the report, Swann’s daughter told the dean that at first, the guard asked her if she had a boyfriend and asked to check her phone. The next day, he greeted her by saying, “Good morning baby.”After that, the student reported, the guard told her he “liked the way she twerked that a**” on Instagram.The student said she felt uncomfortable and reported it to the dean, who called her mother and told her they would take a report and investigate.But Swann said she never heard an update until the day Dugger was charged.“Who would say that to a little kid? You’re supposed to be making sure these kids are safe and you’re preying on them,” Swann said.She said she is terrified of what could have happened had her daughter not reported it — and angry that the school didn’t do more initially.“My daughter is a special needs child. Congress has a rare opportunity Wednesday to consider whether tech giants should be broken up due to antitrust concerns.The CEOs of Amazon, Google, Apple, and Facebook are testifying remotely in a House Judiciary Committee Hearing starting at noon on Wednesday.Facebook internal company documents are being deployed against CEO Mark Zuckerberg by lawmakers asserting that the company has gobbled up rivals to squelch competition.Rep. Jerrold Nadler, the Democrat who heads the House Judiciary Committee, told Zuckerberg at a hearing Wednesday that documents obtained from the company “tell a very disturbing story” of Facebook’s acquisition of the Instagram messaging service.He said the documents show Zuckerberg called Instagram a threat that could “meaningfully hurt” Facebook.Zuckerberg responded that Facebook viewed Instagram as both a competitor and a “complement” to Facebook’s services, but also acknowledged that it competed with Facebook on photo-sharing. Some critics of Facebook have called for the company to divest Instagram and its WhatsAPP messaging service.During his questioning with Rep.
