SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police have identified the man shot and killed in Encanto Wednesday night as 24-year-old Gai Wal.Police were called to the 6100 block of Imperial Avenue just before 6 p.m. on December 23 after receiving reports of shots fired.When they arrived, officers found Wal in the parking lot of a nearby business with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso.RELATED: San Diego police: Man shot in Encanto neighborhoodWal was taken to the hospital in critical condition. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego may soon have more living spaces in commercial zones, due to ease of regulations approved by the San Diego City Council Tuesday.The amendments to the Live/Work Quarters rules allow for smaller living space in a place of business, add more business types that can include living areas, and authorize additional locations where Live/Work Quarters are allowed.The changes reduce the required minimum floor area from 750 square feet to 500 square feet, and eliminate the requirement for additional parking.RELATED: San Diego housing report focuses on region's needsTuesday’s amendments were part of Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s Housing SD reforms.“This is going to put underutilized commercial and industrial spaces to work in tackling San Diego’s housing crisis,” Mayor Faulconer said. “Lifting restrictions on housing will bring new life to old buildings and allow businesses owners to live where they work. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police announced Wednesday the arrests of two young men on suspicion of burglaries in Scripps Ranch and La Mesa.Joshua Guillen, 22, and Daniel Gomez, 18, were identified through photo recognition and D.N.A. evidence, police said.The Scripps Ranch burglary happened at a home on Red Cedar Dr. in May. 10News spoke with the homeowner, Bob Arban, who said he received an alert on his phone, indicating someone inside his home.RELATED: Owner watches burglary live on surveillance cameraSeveral items were stolen before police arrived. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are searching for a woman they say robbed a San Diego Wells Fargo bank. According to police, the woman entered the bank on the 9200 block of Miramar Road just before 6 p.m. Thursday. Police say the woman demanded money from the teller, who handed the suspect an unknown amount of cash.
