PYONGYANG, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Li Jinhua, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Monday met with Kim Wan Su, director of the secretariat of the Central Committee of the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland (CCDFRF) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).     Li, who is heading a CPPCC delegation on a visit to the DPRK, said at the meeting that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, and the visit was also one of the major events of the China-DPRK friendship year. BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang told former French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin Tuesday that efforts should be made to ensure the "healthy" and "stable" development of Sino-French relations.     Li recalled the experiences on the bilateral ties since China and French forged diplomatic relations 45 years ago, noting that sound political relations and trust served the fundamental interests of the two peoples and were vital to boost cooperation.     Li also briefed Raffarin on China's economic situation, adding the measures China adopted to curb the global financial crisis "have been taking some effect."     "We are confident of maintaining China's stable and rapid economic growth and highly value foreign trade cooperation with countries such as France," Li said.     Raffarin, who is in Beijing to attend a Sino-French economic seminar, said expressed his commitment to continuing to promote the bilateral strategic partnership. DAR ES SALAAM, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in the Tanzanian capital of Dar es Salaam Saturday night for a state visit to the eastern African nation.     Hu was greeted by Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and a local performance at the airport.     In a statement released upon arrival, Hu said the bilateral relationship has been developing in a sound and smooth way since 45 years ago when the diplomatic ties were established.     "It can be viewed as an exemplary relationship of sincerity, solidarity and cooperation between China and an African country and between two developing countries," Hu said.     The president said his visit is aimed at enhancing mutual trust, expanding cooperation, planning for the future and lifting the friendly and cooperative relations to a new high.     Hu said he is expecting an in-depth exchange of views with President Kikwete and other Tanzanian leaders on the bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual interest.     During his stay here, Hu will also meet with Zanzibar President Amani Abeid Karume, attend the completion ceremony of Tanzania's state stadium, visit a cemetery for Chinese experts, and deliver a key-note speech at a welcoming meeting on Monday. BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhua) -- China will strengthen oversight of listed securities companies by promoting information transparency.     On Saturday, China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) introduced a regulation which said securities companies should remind investors about potential risks when shareholders decide to launch a new business or introduce an innovative business.     The annual report and half-year report by listed securities companies should include risk assessment conditions, as well as reasons for risk and probable effects.
