Police arrested a Gilbert, Arizona man accused of stealing nearly ,000 worth of items from Home Depot. Chandler (Arizona) Police report that from February 2012 to February 2018, Antoine Elkik, 57, made nearly ,000 by stealing goods from Home Depot stores in Maricopa County. Police say Elkik would legitimately purchase products, put them in his car, then immediately go back to the store with his receipt and select the same products and exit the store. If he were questioned, he would show the sales associate the receipt from the prior purchase. He would later, reportedly, return the stolen products to the store for a refund. Police say he purchased 402 items since 2012, returning all of them for refunds. Home Depot Organized Crime Investigators said, "Antoine was identified through analytical reporting in which he was showing a high amount of refunds." He was arrested on March 27 and has been charged with 30 counts of retail theft. 997

Porn star Stormy Daniels filed a lawsuit for defamation on Monday against President Donald Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen.The suit, filed by her lawyer Michael Avenatti in California, came a day after CBS aired a tell-all interview with Daniels regarding an affair she alleges she had with Trump more than a decade ago, and which the White House continues to deny.Monday's legal maneuver is an additional move in an ongoing suit by Daniels against Cohen, Trump and the limited liability company Cohen has said he established to facilitate a payment to Daniels ahead of the presidential election.Cohen has denied Daniels' claims but admitted to making the payment. President Donald Trump said Thursday he is opposed to changing the structure for the remaining two presidential debates. On Wednesday, the Commission on Presidential Debates said it was considering changes following Tuesday’s debate which contained frequent interruptions. “The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate,” the commission said on Wednesday. “Last night’s debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues. POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A Poway family is desperately searching for their beloved cat who was last seen getting into a car with an Amazon delivery driver Monday night. Rachael Dominguez shared her doorbell camera footage with 10News which shows Cofi the Siamese cat interacting with the driver on the front porch. Another angle shows the same driver and the cat getting into a car and driving away.Dominguez contacted the Poway Sheriff's Department and Amazon. The company told her the driver says he thought Cofi was a stray and was trying to help but the cat jumped out of his car at a later stop.The driver says Cofi jumped out around Cree Court in Poway. Dominguez is asking people living in that area to keep an eye out for the cat. 746
