SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – More rain and possible snow is expected to hit San Diego County this weekend, as a low-pressure storm moves through the region.San Diego's coasts and valleys could get anywhere between .25 - .50 of an inch of rain and near 1 inch in the mountains. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police Wednesday arrested a woman they say vandalized a church Monday afternoon. Kelly Duggan, 26, was arrested after police say she caused more than ,000 worth of damage to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.10News Reporter Bree Steffen Reach out Duggan, who agreed to a jailhouse interview. Duggan told us that she's in an emotional state, heartbroken over her mother's death. "I don't know what's going on anymore, and that's what's making me mad," she said. "I'll still pay for it, that's fine."According to authorities, Duggan threw a wooden kneeler at a Plexiglas window protecting a religious shrine, breaking both the kneeler and the glass.Duggan also destroyed several flower vases decorating the shrine before leaving the church, police say. She was arrested for felony vandalism after being spotted in Barrio Logan.Duggan said she didn't vandalize the church out of disrespect or hate for the faith. The church told 10News they caught Duggan's action on their surveillance cameras but didn't share the video because they worried that people who saw might harm her. Duggan had this message for the church: "Thank you for forgiving me, you know, out of the kindness of your heart."  1265

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a homeless man a Mission Valley father says tried dragging his daughter into bushes before she was able to escape.Chris Gilbert says his 11-year-old daughter went to check the mail Saturday around 2 p.m. on the 5900 block of Caminito Deporte when the incident happened.After walking across the street to check the mail, Gilbert says his daughter felt hands on her shoulders.RELATED: San Diego Homelessness Czar to go on leave to open Mormon temple"She thought it was me, sneaking up playing a game,” Gilbert said.Then, Gilbert says, the man grabbed the 11-year-old by the neck and started dragging her toward some bushes.“She told me he put his hands on her shoulders from behind and was holding her, turned around and kicked him in the shin, got loose and ran into the house and found me upstairs.”That’s when Gilbert ran downstairs to confront the homeless man, hitting him in the shoulder as a warning.RELATED: Oceanside residents demand solution to homelessness issue“I said, ‘you need to get out of here,’ then he started hitting me.”Gilbert’s daughter describes the man as six foot, two inches tall, between the ages of 40 to 45 with thick glasses. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - One man is dead after a car hopped onto a sidewalk and ran over him.A vehicle traveling southbound near 3950 Normal St. in Hillcrest veered off the road and onto the sidewalk at about 11 p.m. Friday. In the process, the vehicle ran over a man sleeping on the sidewalk, killing him.Police said the vehicle continued through some bushes and into a parking lot, where it collided with a parked car. The vehicle fled the area traveling eastbound on University Ave.The vehicle was described as a silver Honda Accord. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One man was arrested and another man was injured after a violent argument at a Gaslamp convenience store.San Diego Police say a customer at the 7-11 store at 515 5th Ave. was causing a disturbance at about 9 a.m. Saturday. Another customer confronted the man inside the store and the confrontation escalated into a fight.At one point, the 31-year-old suspect stabbed the 52-year-old victim in the left side of his abdomen, police said.The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries and police arrested the suspect, though their identities were not released. 614
