BEIJING, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature on Monday started to review a series of draft laws and amendments, including those on trademarks, protection of consumers' rights and asset appraisal.

Over the past two decades, China has put forward a series of new ideas in promoting regional cooperation, and played a leading role in developing relations with ASEAN and building the ASEAN community and the East Asia community.

For years, China has unremittingly pursued and implemented a foreign policy of building a good neighborly relationship and partnership with neighboring countries, including ASEAN members.

Britain welcomes China's investment, said Cameron, adding that his country is committed to boosting free trade and investment.

All cases must be investigated and miscreants punished more severely to deter others, the plan said.
