Wang said China is willing to enhance political mutual trust and high-level exchanges with Italy and improve mutual beneficial cooperation standards, so as to consolidate and broaden bilateral relations at a higher level.
"China stands ready to share development opportunities with other countries and work in concert with them to tackle challenges, maintain world peace and regional stability, and create an even brighter future for mankind," the premier said.
During the meeting, the two generals pledged to further boost military cooperation between the two countries.
