Recently, 90 million people had their Facebook account’s breached. Many are still trying to log back into their page, but are unsuccessful in their attempts. Cyber experts say you should first focus on protecting your personal information that could have been compromised. Tekesha Saffold realized her account was breached when she logged in, but soon realized it wasn’t her account. She reached out to Facebook by phone, but she got an automated recording directing her to their troubleshooting page online. “I have no access to my account at this point, and it has all my information in it,” Saffold says. Saffold completed the steps Facebook told her to take in order to gain access back into her account, but it didn’t work.Cyber expert Fred Kneip, with Cyber GRX, says the most important thing to do is figure out what other accounts you sign into using your Facebook credentials. “The first things hackers do is take those passwords or credentials,” he explains. Hackers try to apply those passwords to banking sites and healthcare sites to get more information, and ultimately, steal your identity. That’s why Kneip says to focus on your passwords.“If you are updating your passwords and using unique passwords, that’s the safest way to address this,” Kneip says.He also suggests turning on the dual-factor notification on Facebook. It sends you a text with a set of numbers you have to plug into get into your account, along with your password. He says it’s twice the protection.   1592

Quick thinking and response by Independence, Ohio police officer Andrew March, made all the difference in the world for a woman police say was attempting to take her own life, on the I-480 bridge on April 20.Officer March responded at 9:30 AM, after getting information from Cleveland police, that the woman could be on the bridge.Independence police dash camera video shows Officer March quickly jumping out of his cruiser, and then jumping up to grab the woman's leg, pulling her down to safety."I was just thinking get there fast, and if she's climbing up, make sure she gets back down safely on the right side," said March."I just grabbed whatever is available and start pulling and hopefully and would get her to safety."March credited higher safety fencing, installed along the I-480 bridge by the Ohio Department of Transportation two months ago, with giving him more time to get to the scene."It definitely made a difference, if it would have been the old fencing, she probably would have made it over the top," said March.Independence Police Chief Michael Kilbane told News 5, he and police chief's in Valley View and Garfield Heights, started working with State Representative Marlene Anielski (R-Walton Hills) last year to get the safety fencing improved."She really lobbied ODOT hard to get this done, and actually made them make it a priority," said Kilbane.Kilbane praised ODOT and said he hopes the safety fencing posted at other northeast Ohio bridges will be examined in the future."Again it if can just prevent one of them, or buy some time for somebody to get there and talk them out of it, or help them.  I think it's well worth the investment," said Kilbane.ODOT told News 5 it will install a 10-foot safety fence along the Lorain Road bridge, over the Rocky River, later this summer.Meanwhile, March told News 5 he doesn't feel like a hero, that he was just doing his job.Chief Kilbane disagrees."Andrew March is a hero," said Kilbane."I know he's a modest kid, but he saved a life today." 2054

Susan Collins, of Maine, is calling embattled EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt "the wrong person" to head the agency "on policy grounds alone."Collins voted against Pruitt's confirmation, and said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union" that his actions on the environment, "whether it's trying to undermine the Clean Power Plan or weaken the restrictions on lead or undermine the methane rules," validate her decision.Pruitt has come under fire for a string of ethically questionable actions over the past year, including renewed questions over the amount he is spending on his large security detail?and over his travel and housing arrangements."This daily drop of accusations of excessive spending and ethical violations serve to further distract the agency from accomplishing its very important mission," Collins said. RANCHITA, Calif. (KGTV) - Three people were found dead Sunday at the wreckage site of a plane crash that sparked a fire on Volcan Mountain that began Thursday night, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.The people have not been identified. The victims will be airlifted out of the mountain once conditions are safe, the sheriff's office said. The winds were too high on Sunday to fly to the location.Because of the wildfire that burned at the site of the crash along with difficult conditions, investigators could not reach the site until Sunday.CalFire said the fire is now 100 percent contained and burned 12 acres. Crews will still be mopping up the crash site for several days, CalFire said.About 70 firefighters spent the night into Saturday fighting back flames.Friday, San Diego Sheriff's Department (SDSO) officials said they had located the wreckage of a "possible crash site" in the area, but could not reach it due to the fire.
