Colin Kaepernick will be featured in a documentary series produced by ESPN Films as part of a first-look deal with The Walt Disney Co. The deal between Kaepernick's production arm, Ra Vision Media, and The Walt Disney Company was announced Monday. “During this unprecedented time, The Walt Disney Company remains committed to creating diverse and inclusive content that resonates and matters," Bob Iger, Disney’s executive chairman said in a press release. "Colin’s experience gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of sports, culture, and race, which will undoubtedly create compelling stories that will educate, enlighten and entertain, and we look forward to working with him on this important collaboration."The partnership will focus on telling scripted and unscripted stories that explore race, social injustice, and the quest for equity. "I am excited to announce this historic partnership with Disney across all of its platforms to elevate Black and Brown directors, creators, storytellers, and producers, and to inspire the youth with compelling and authentic perspectives," Kaepernick said in the press release. Comedian Conan O’Brien’s 28-year run on late-night television will come to an end in 2021, O’Brien announced on Tuesday.As part of O’Brien’s announcement, the television stalwart will be producing a new weekly variety series on HBO Max. COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Fourteen people were injured and at least two animals were killed at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo when a hailstorm tore through the Colorado Springs area Monday afternoon.Five zoo patrons injured in the storm were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to the Colorado Spring Fire Department. Nine people were treated at the scene. Several kids attending zoo camp were reported to be safe with no injuries.Zoo officials said a vulture and a duck were killed.  "It was hail the size I've never seen before," Jenny Koch, the zoo's marketing director, told The Denver Post.
