BEIJING, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- China unveiled a plan on Wednesday to promote the construction of the Huaihe River green economic belt in a bid to foster regional economic and ecological development.
He called on both nations to follow the trend of the times, continue to deepen mutual understanding and enhance exchanges and cooperation in various areas, properly solve differences, and explore ways to get along with each other under the new circumstances, so as to promote greater development of bilateral ties in the next four decades.

China is willing to work with Thailand to enhance communication, do proper planing for deepened cooperation, speed up the construction of China-Thailand railway in a bid to achieve early connection of China-Laos-Thailand railway, and actively explore third-party cooperation, he said.
The year of 2018 carries a significant symbolic meaning for China as it marks the 40th anniversary of its reform and opening up endeavor. China now seeks deepened economic reform and is launching more measures to further open up to the world.
