And she knew she had to be with him.Schulman, her husband and her brother rushed to look for flights out of the New York area. They couldn't find an open seat with a commercial airline, so they called Talon Air, a charter jet company, to fly to Scott's side.The company's clients include Martha Stewart and Lebron James, according to their website."I had no idea what the charge was at the time. It really didn't matter what the charge was," she told CNN. "I was convinced in my mind that my son was in the hospital and I needed to get to him as fast as possible."What Schulman did not expect, however, was that she would be charged an additional ,000 for the empty plane's return to New York the next day, bumping the bill up to a total of ,459.13 dollars.Once she landed, Schulman learned her son, Scott J. Beigel, had died that February day after unlocking his classroom door to allow students to seek shelter. Wildlife biologists with the Conservancy of Southwest Florida shared a shocking python find in Collier-Seminole State Forest on Thursday. An invasive Burmese python's eyes were a little bigger than its stomach when it decided to devour a white-tailed deer fawn. Officials say pythons have been known to kill and ingest large prey and this was a record breaking meal.  Officials stumbled upon the python with the massive prey inside. The biologists removed the python out of the wild into an open area and the python was stressed so it pushed the deer out of its mouth. In the photo below you can see the breathing tube and tongue of the python as it has its mouth wrapped around the deer. Biologists believe it is the largest python-to-prey ratio documented. The python was 31.5 pounds and the deer was 35 pounds; 111% of the python's mass. The findings will be published in the March 2018 issue of the Herpetological Review.“This observation is another important piece of evidence for the negative impact invasive Burmese pythons are having on native wildlife across the Greater Everglades Ecosystem” said Ian Bartoszek, Conservancy of Southwest Florida wildlife biologist. “Imagine the potential consequences to the state and federally protected Florida panther if Burmese pythons adversely affect the number of white-tailed deer, a panther’s primary prey.”Biologists are focused on the impact the python is having across the food chain. Since 2013, the Conservancy and its research partners have been conducting research to document the invasive Burmese python's biology and behavior in Collier County, including the tracking, removal and necropsy of captured pythons.Kelly Bazzle is the Digital Executive Producer at Scripps Station WFTS. While thousands gathered in Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Grammy Award winner, Sturgill Simpson played his own street-side concert.Simpson won a Grammy for Best Country Album earlier this year, but has never been nominated for a CMA Award. He's made jabs at the Country Music Association in the past.He played for a small crowd at the entrance of the arena and streamed it live to his Facebook page.Sturgill answered questions from viewers and played a few songs. While reports indicate that the tally will include a few more votes for Trump, he will still likely fall far short of overtaking Biden's current lead in the state.Georgia is the only state that the Associated Press has not called for either candidate. Even without Georgia's electoral votes, Biden would still have enough to win the presidency.Trump is continuing to push unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.
