SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Family and friends of Sabrina Rosario gathered Saturday night for a memorial service to honor her and her four boys. Rosario and her boys were killed by her estranged husband, the children's father, last month. The boys: Enzi, 3, Zuriel, 5, Ezekiel, 9 and Zeth, 11. Rosario was 29-years-old. Collins says her daughter was brave and beautiful and she finds comfort in knowing she's in a better place. Roughly 400 people filled the church in Paradise Hills for the memorial. Pictures and flowers filled the front of the room. The service included prayer, singing and stories of Rosario and the boys. Rosario had been granted a restraining order from her estranged husband just hours before she was killed, but that order was never served. 947

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Former Congressman Darrell Issa is standing behind a political ad that the San Diego chair of his own party has called highly inappropriate.The ad, running on local television, takes aim at Carl DeMaio, a key Issa opponent in the race to replace Duncan Hunter in California's 50th Congressional District. The campaign commercial presents itself as a retort to a recent DeMaio ad that questioned Issa's dedication to President Trump. Issa's ad turns that around. However, the attacks appear to get personal. The ad uses images of two news article headlines in The Hill and The Los Angeles Blade that describe DeMaio as "Gay." It also uses images of MS-13 gang members when talking about DeMaio's stance on a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants (DeMaio said in The Hill article that he supports a path for well-educated immigrants and those who came to the U.S. as children.)San Diego Republican Party Chair Tony Krvaric described the ad as highly inappropriate."We encourage all candidates to stick to the issues," he said. The average price for a gallon of regular gas dropped for the 11th day Tuesday, decreasing three-tenths of a cent to .34. The average price has fallen 7.6 cents during the streak, according to figures from AAA. The average price is 4.7 cents less than a week ago and 20.4 cents less than a month ago. Despite the drop in prices, regular gasoline is 21.4 cents more than a year ago. The sharp increase in the cost of gas was felt around California after Governor Jerry Brown signed a gas tax increase that went into effect in 2017. In November of 2018, California voters turned down Proposition 6. The measure would have repealed the most recent gas tax hike and ensured that no new gas taxes get passed without voter approval. 876

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Get ready for sunny days at SeaWorld this summer, as the cast of a television favorite comes to San Diego.SeaWorld will host Sesame Street favorites including Elmo, Cookie Monster, and others with themed floats, music, and two performances along the parade route during the Sesame Street Party Parade.The parade will feature 10 massive floats depicting the areas kids know and love, like Mr. Hooper's Store and the Count's Castle.More than 20 dancers will jump and jive alongside Elmo down the parade route, along with a cast of furry friends.During the two mid-parade shows, performers will jump rope, hula hoop, and groove to guests' delight. One show will star Rosita, a Sesame Street favorite known for her guitar skills. The parade can be seen on weekends running from May 25 - Sept. 1 at the park. 830
