CLEVELAND, Ohio – President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are debating each other for the first time.WATCH LIVE:The 90-minute event will be split up into six 15-minute segments and there will be no commercial interruption.Each of the six segments will be dedicated to a predetermined topic. The audience will also be smaller than in years past and all in-house spectators will be tested for the coronavirus.This debate will provide both nominees the opportunity to shape the narrative of the election, which has largely been focused on the handling of the pandemic, the push for racial equality, and most recently the vacancy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the Supreme Court.Along with those topics, a bombshell report from The New York Times is sure to be brought up. The “newspaper of record” reported Sunday that it has obtained more than two decades worth of Trump’s tax information. The documents reportedly revealed Trump paid just 0 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017. In 10 of the 15 years before that, he paid no income taxes at all, The Times reports. The president has called the reporting “fake news.”Trump and Biden are getting ready for the debate in starkly different ways. The Washington Post reports that Trump isn’t doing much to prepare, instead relying on his experience at the White House and at rallies. CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — Florida middle school teacher Dayanna Volitich submitted her resignation after it was found she was also the host of a white supremacist podcast called "Unapologetic" and the voice behind a Twitter account riddled with racist and anti-Semitic posts.The Citrus County School District removed Volitich from the classroom while it investigated her behavior after The Huffington Post broke the story in March. On Monday, Assistant Superintendent Mike Mullen said in an emailed statement that the district received Volitich's resignation, but it isn't final until it's accepted by the school board. Country superstar Garth Brooks is bringing a concert to people in their cars across the U.S. later this month.Brooks will host a concert event at 300 drive-in theaters across North America on June 27. He made the announcement on Good Morning America this week. "I am so excited to get to play again. I have missed it so much and want to get back to it," Brooks said in a statement. CLEWISTON, Fla., -- Three Clewiston High School football players have been kicked off the team after they were seen in a music video waving fake guns and flashing gang signs. Parents say the kids meant no harm and the consequences are too harsh. “Football is his way out, so taking that away from him really crushes his dream," said LaTwyiaen Carter, mother of Trayquan Williams, a senior football player that was asked to leave after he was seen rapping in the music video. Carter pointed out that Hendry County Deputies also appeared in the video and that the "kids were just having fun." She says at least four officers were around when the kids filmed it, even helping them create it. “They didn’t have to kick them off the team," Carter said. "Suspending them for a game, yes. Kicking them off, no." Carter says her son has dreams of playing football at the University of Florida. She says those dreams could be diminished now.The Hendry County Deputy Superintendent was less sympathetic to the video. “That type of behavior was so egregious and appalling that we cannot tolerate that at Clewiston High School," Robert Egley said. Egley says that even though the video happened off-campus, the video is not the type of student-athlete "role models" Clewiston should have. "Once he’s grown and out of school, he can do whatever he wants to do," Egley said. "Coaches have talked to their students about the dangers and parallels of social media." Egley later said there are no social media policies in the school handbook that pertain to off-campus behavior. Nevertheless, Carter says without football, she worries her son will give up on his dreams altogether. "He’s going to give up, he’s going to feel like nothing matters now… [He said,] 'they act like I killed somebody,' I said yeah, they really do,” she said. Carter says her son has written apology letters to his principal and his teammates and will do anything he can to get back on the team.  2089

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Imagine this scenario, or for some of you, it's been a past reality. You're in the shower and the water suddenly shuts off. You're covered in soap. You go into distress. Then rage overcomes you.In a Facebook post, Cody Vickers documented a similar scenario that happened in Columbus while he was at a construction job. His photo shows a butt-naked man bathing in water spewing from a broken water main near North High Street in Clintonville, the Columbus Dispatch reported.He said, “It’s not every day you see a naked man come out of his house screaming and cussing ... then comes off the porch and finishes taking his shower where the excavator hit the line," in a Facebook post that has since gone viral, getting 137,000 shares and more than 14,000 likes."I was in the f****** shower. I got soap all over me," said Vickers, repeating what the man said when he was met with a trench and a fountain of water. He said the man slung his towel off and ran down the steps, across the sidewalk and over the trench where he met his temporary shower.The Columbus Dispatch reported that the construction crew hit an unmarked line and the man came outside seconds later with a towel around his waist."I couldn't believe he did that.
