Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officials are investigating a triple shooting at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino that occurred Saturday night at around 7:29 p.m. Responding officers located the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds upon arrival and they were transported to UMC after being stabilized. Police say they have a person of interest in custody.Officials believe it was an isolated incident involving a fight between two groups that led to the shooting. 479

LA JOLLA, Calif. (KGTV) - More women are coming forward after a 10News investigation revealed a La Jolla restaurant owner was arrested Wednesday on 18 counts that include raping an unconscious victim and forcibly drugging a victim. Daniel Dorado is the owner of Bird Rock area's Voce Del Mare, an upscale Italian restaurant. He's now behind bars, held on 0,000 bail.Thursday, a woman who didn't want to go on-camera told us she applied for a bartending job at the restaurant a couple of years ago, but was so uncomfortable with Dorado that she declined the job opportunity. She tells us he asked her over the phone about her body type and whether she'd wear revealing clothing. She tells us the inappropriate conversation led to more harassment, after he apparently called and yelled at her that night for being unable to meet in-person. RELATED: Woman accusing restaurant owner of rape comes forward10News also spoke to a woman Thursday who says she worked at the restaurant for a brief time and also claims to have been treated inappropriately. She wanted us to protect her identity, but revealed, "He wanted to know what I was going to be wearing to work. He wanted me to take a picture of [my outfit] and text it to him." She says she quit after a few shifts.Both women felt uncomfortable with Dorado, but say they were horrified after watching a 10News exclusive interview Wednesday night with a young woman who claims he drugged and raped her three years ago when she came into the restaurant to interview for a hostess position. Her attorney says she is one of at least four women that Dorado is charged with assaulting. Dorado is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday. 1715

La Jolla, CALIF., (KGTV) -- San Diego Police detectives are investigating a vandalism case, where someone spay painted swastikas and inappropriate words in a La Jolla neighborhood.Every day, Joe Dicks usually takes La Jolla Mesa Drive to work. But Wednesday morning, he saw something very unusual. "We were disgusted by what we saw," Dicks said. He and his wife saw swastikas drawn in white spray paint in several locations along La Jolla Mesa Drive. Some were on the walls of private homes. Others were drawn on the sidewalks, on construction signs, and even the road. Dicks was so shocked, he stopped the car to take photos. "Look at what the symbol represents," Dicks said. "Hatred, intolerance, violence, I mean, make no mistake. This is a threat."San Diego Police said they got their first report at 7 am Wednesday. Then came two more reports of Inappropriate graffiti on several properties. City workers were immediately called out to clean them up. According to the Anti-Defamation League, 2018 was the third straight year of increased Anti-Semitic incidents in California. Dicks said this cannot become the new norm. "This has no place in this community, and has no place in this city, and has no place in our country," Dicks said. Especially with the deadly Poway Synagogue shooting still fresh in the minds of San Diegans, Dicks says this needs to be taken seriously.Police said they are investigating this case as a vandalism report. But it could be upgraded to a hate crime, depending on what detectives conclude."If we don't take it seriously every step of the way, it just escalates. LAKE PARK, Fla. -- The owners of a bait and tackle store in Florida have been accused of holding two people they suspected of shoplifting at gunpointDaniel Friedman, Eric Friedman and Daniel Friedman, the owners of Just Fishing Tackle and Consignment in Lake Park are charged with robbery with a firearm, false imprisonment, and tampering with evidence.On Aug.16, deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says it responded to the Just Fishing in reference to a shoplifting complaint.When deputies arrived, one person was laying on the ground surrendering to law enforcement, and one of the business owners was holding a shotgun over another person in the rear of the store.PBSO says the person being held at gunpoint had lacerations and swelling to his face and lacerations to his arms and back.During their investigation, deputies learned that the Friedmans knew the people they accused of shoplifting.The employees told the detective that on Aug. 8, the person being held at gunpoint along with an unidentified man came to Just Fishing and stole a fishing reel worth approximately 0. At no time did the Friedmans or other employees notify law enforcement to report the crime.The detective said that on Aug. 16, Daniel Friedman and his son Eric, called the man about the stolen fishing reel. Both he and another man showed up to the store that afternoon. Upon entering the store, PBSO says Eric Friedman confronted the man about the theft. According to the detective, the man and Daniel Friedman began to fight and Daniel Friedman pulled out a shotgun.PBSO says the two men were held against their will at gunpoint. They later told the detective that they were beaten and forced at gunpoint to hand over their cell phones, ,180 in cash and their wallets.According to PBSO, after learning this information, Daniel Friedman and family then became confrontational with deputies regarding the alleged robbery of the men and the family then denied deputies access to the business.PBSO says the store's surveillance video system was disabled between 2:40 p.m. and 4:36 p.m.Deputies say they believe the DVR was unplugged during this time.According to PBSO, at 2:40 p.m. store employee Marc Kellener is observed walking towards the area where the DVR system is located and then the video ceases recording.The video resumes at 4:35 p.m. with one of the men seen lying on the ground with his hands out to his side in the surrender position and the other man seated in a chair in the rear office portion of the store.Eric Friedman is seen yelling at the seated man and Daniel Friedman is seen standing next to him holding a chrome-colored shotgun. Naomi Friedman is seen on video placing a large sum of cash into a white envelope, then place the envelope into a larger mailing envelope and places it into a desk drawer.PBSO says surveillance footage shows Daniel Friedman grabbing one man by the neck and pushing him back down into the chair.At 4:36 p.m., surveillance video shows Marc Kellener walk into the office and punch one of the men twice in the face.At 4:40 p.m., Daniel Friedman is seen on video striking one of the men in the head with the butt of the shotgun. Minutes later Eric Friedman is seen spitting in one man's face multiple times.Daniel Friedman is charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and two counts of kidnapping/false imprisonment.Naomi Friedman and Marc Kellener are both charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm, two counts of kidnapping/false imprisonment, and one count of destroying evidence.    3681

And that's responsible for making the right and wrong decision," she explained.Bronstein says many attending these parties are young single men going through the 'Young Male Syndrome.'"They just love engaging in high-risk behavior such as high-speed driving, doing illicit drugs, doing the tide-pod challenge, the cinnamon challenge, and in this case, going to a COVID party," she said.Here in the Tampa Bay area, we've seen young people lining up outside local establishments without masks and not social distancing.So how can parents get their kids to realize, they're not invincible?"First sit down with your kids and have a discussion about decision making and consequences. And you want to be able to talk with your children, not to them. You want them to feel seen and heard and you really want to listen to them," she said.And if you have adult friends not following CDC guidelines?This social worker recommends going into the conversation without any judgment."You don't want the other person to feel defensive. And basically just go in with compassion. I care about you.
