A 20-year-old Shelby Township, Michigan man has been charged with making a terrorist threat against Lakeside Mall.Tyler Tindell was arraigned Monday and locked up on 0,000 bond.Police say they received credible word of the threat on Friday. They tracked Tindell down by Friday afternoon. He was arrested at his home and a gun was found.Police say he had sent text messages planning a mass shooting at Lakeside Mall.During the investigation, officers from the Sterling Heights Police Department were sent to provide additional security to the mall and surrounding community.“At no time was the safety of anybody at Lakeside Mall in jeopardy; this, in large part, was because of the communication between all law enforcement agencies involved in this case,” said Sterling Height Deputy Police Chief Mark Coil. 833

(KGTV) – National City Police found Tuesday a student-to-student threat at a South Bay elementary school was not credible.The alleged threat by a John A Otis Elementary student to another student was investigated, though not further details could be offered due to student privacy laws, according to National School Distict Superintendent Leighangela Brady."Students informed us of the alleged threat, and based on the information provided we took immediate action to investigate," Brady said. "This information came to our attention becase a student spoke up. (KGTV) - People who believe they were a part of San Diego’s water meter reading debacle got a chance to get some answers from City of San Diego officials Thursday night.Hundreds crowded into the Mira Mesa Senior Center for City Council-member Chris Cate’s Q&A forum on the water meter misreadings and subsequent over-billings. “It’s about trying to earn the trust back from the people,” said Cate on the meeting along with the oncoming audit of more than 250,000 water meters in San Diego.“I think people need to feel comfortable knowing that their meters actually can get read and read correctly,” added CateLast week, the City of San Diego admitted 343 customers in a pool of a little more than 2,000 had their water meters incorrectly read in the communities of Rancho Bernardo, Ranch Penasquitos, Carmel Valley and Mira Mesa.Water utility officials said it’s their plan to send out the refund checks in the next three to thirty days. 979
