SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Employees at a Little Caesars franchise location in Logan Heights say their paychecks are bouncing and management is not responding to their concerns. The workers say the problems started in March, and they told 10News they've received paychecks, only to have them bounce a few days later and racking up banking fees every time. The employees 10News spoke to, from the National Avenue location, did not want to be identified. When they spoke out to supervisors, the employees claimed they were told to not to bother upper management. Other times, they said, they were left in the dark with no response. Employees identified the owner as Tony Bith, saying he owns at least a dozen Little Caesars locations throughout San Diego County. The one in Barrio Logan on Main Street is also closed; the National City Location on Plaza Boulevard is still open. 10News tried to reach Bith by phone but did not hear back as of the publication of this story. 10News also attempted to make contact with him at his home address, but could not access him because he lives in a gated community. 10News reached out to Little Caesars corporate to find out if they were aware of what was going on and they sent the following statement: 1243

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Gusty Santa Ana winds and dry conditions prompted the National Weather Service to declare a Red Flag Warning for parts of San Diego County.A Fire Weather Watch was initially set to take effect Thursday, but NWS officials -- citing Santa Ana winds and low humidity -- updated the declaration into a Red Flag Warning.The warning is scheduled to take effect Thursday at 10 a.m. and will expire at 10 p.m. Friday. As a result, Cal Fire is increasing staffing this week. LATEST WEATHER FORECASTNWS officials said, “Santa Ana winds will develop Thursday with peak winds arriving Thursday night into Friday morning before gradually decreasing Friday afternoon and evening. A very dry air mass will spread into southern California on Thursday with lowest daytime humidity on Friday around 5 percent.”According to NWS officials, the Red Flag Warning will impact the San Diego region’s mountain and inland valleys.“Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly with extreme fire behavior possible. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Federal investigators are looking for a woman and getaway driver who attempted to rob a South Bay bank last December.A female suspect approached a bank teller just after 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2017, at the Bank of America located at 605 Saturn Boulevard in Imperial Beach. The woman presented a note to the teller, demanding money, according to the FBI.However, the teller refused to comply with the woman's demands.The woman left without any money and met an awaiting driver outside before fleeing the area.FBI investigators described the suspect as a Hispanic woman between 25- and 35-years-old, about 5-feet 6-inches tall, and with medium build. She was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket with a hood and gold-rimmed sunglasses.The getaway car is described as a silver Ford Mustang with a black racing stripe down the center. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Driving in San Diego is starting to look like Los Angeles - or worse.For many San Diegans, the morning and afternoon commutes are more congested than the year before.Equinox Project, a research group, reported that San Diego drivers spent more than 19 hours stuck in traffic last year. The statistic is 30 minutes higher than 2016.“San Diego traffic wasn't even a thought back in the day,” said commuter Omid Sabet.San Diegans traveled 29 freeway miles per day in 2017, more than any other major county in California. By comparison, Los Angeles drivers traveled only 23 highway miles.“People want to buy houses, rent houses, but they’re getting pushed farther and farther away,” said Mikaela Bolling with Equinox Project.The number of solo drivers dropped half a percent in 2017.“It’s a small decrease but it’s good news that more people are carpooling, biking or walking to work,” Bolling said.Few San Diegans are using public transit or bike lanes but Bolling believes that could change.“There are more bike lanes being put in, so more people may be biking to work. Also, walkable neighborhoods, more people may be living closer to where they work.”  1189

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Despite a recent surge in attendance and stock prices, SeaWorld Entertainment Tuesday announced 125 job cuts company-wide.Interim CEO John Reilly said in the company’s earnings report Monday that the company identified million of “additional cost reductions.”A spokesperson for the company said the restructuring affects all the company’s theme parks as well as corporate offices, located in Orlando.RELATED: SeaWorld To Eliminate 350 Jobs, Including 80 In San DiegoOther than SeaWorld parks, the company also owns Sesame Place and Bush Gardens parks. SeaWorld said all affected employees would get severance benefits.Last fall, the company cut 350 positions.
