(KGTV) - A San Diego Police motorcycle officer suffered leg injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the South Bay Friday.The collision was reported just before 10 a.m. on westbound SR-905 at I-805. The officer was conducting a vehicle stop of a red SUV when a white pickup collided with the officer's motorcycle. The motorcycle then collided with the SUV, knocking the officer 70 feet down an embankment.The officer was able to call in the collision on their own. SANTA ANA (CNS) - An Orange County pastor is due in a Santa Ana courtroom Monday on felony charges of molesting seven children ages 5 to 15.John Rodgers McFarland, who has been the head pastor at Orangethorpe United Methodist Church in Fullerton since 2014, was arrested on a warrant Thursday charging him with seven counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor younger than 14 and four counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor 14 to 15 years old.The 56-year-old Fullerton resident is accused of molesting the children between 2003 and 2017, according to the Orange County District Attorney's Office.McFarland, who's being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of million bail, faces up to 179 years to life in prison if convicted, prosecutors said.RELATED: Pastor arrested by Escondido Police on suspicion of child molestationIn San Diego County, McFarland was arrested and charged in December with molesting a girl younger than 14 in Escondido between 2012 and 2013. (KGTV) — City officials in San Marcos held a ground-breaking ceremony Wednesday for a 0-million infrastructure project, designed to mitigate flooding.The project will help manage flooding along the San Marcos Creek using two new bridges and channelize parts of the creek. One bridge will be on Brent Avenue and the other will be on Via Vera Cruz. Both bridges will also include bike and pedestrian paths. (KGTV) — Cal State San Marcos police are warning students and community members after a stranger was caught touching himself in front of two women.The incident occurred Monday at about 5 p.m. at the campus' Mangrum Track and Field facility, the college said. Two females who weren't students arrived to work out and saw a man near the pedestrian entrance water fountain. As the two women were walking on the track, the man reportedly made a comment to them and that's when they noticed he was committing the lewd act.The women immediately reported the incident to campus police. The man was last seen riding his bicycle up the pedestrian ramp and then west on Craven Road toward parking lot XYZ.The man is described as in his mid-30s, about 5' 8" tall. with a bald or shaven head and thin build.
