A metro Detroit restaurant is defending a viral video showing a brawl inside the Asian Corned Beef on Gratiot.An employee told Scripps station WXYZ in Detroit she was scared when things quickly got out of hand but says her boss and general manager did what they had to do.It’s a video that’s been viewed more than a million times. It was taken on a cell phone inside the Asian Corned Beef on Gratiot Saturday night.WXYZ reached out to the customer who shot the video. The customer did not feel safe talking, but we that we could use the video. The customer shared the video in Facebook, saying “Asian corn beef on Gratiot ghetto, the whole staff jumped on one person.”The video appears to show a customer arguing with employees, apparently because something was wrong with his order, before an all out fight breaks out.The district manager said they didn’t want to start fighting with the customer and told him to leave.It’s an incident the company said quickly escalated and they didn’t mean for it to get that far.The company said they told police they didn’t want to file a police report, and say they hope this incident doesn’t put a negative light on the restaurant. 1209

A sheriff's department dispatch log reveals new information about the night that missing Wisconsin teenager Jayme Closs' parents were found dead -- including that a 911 call appeared to have come from her mother's cell phone and that the door to the family's home had been kicked in.Authorities have been searching for Jayme Closs, 13, since early Monday, when a mysterious 911 call led deputies to discover that her parents had been shot dead at the family's home in northwestern Wisconsin's Barron County.Investigators say Jayme apparently vanished just after the shootings and is in danger. An Amber Alert was issued for her Monday, and the FBI has added her to its online list of kidnapped or missing people."We believe Jayme was in the home at the time of the homicides and we believe she's still in danger," Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said this week.The investigation began when someone called 911 shortly before 1 a.m. Monday. A teenage worker at a Chili's restaurant in Baton Rouge says she was attacked by a large group of women while trying to enforce COVID-19 restaurant guidelines.According to WAFB, 17-year-old Kelsy Wallace was working her hostess position at the Chili's on Constitution Avenue when she was attacked by a group of 11 or more women on Sunday, August 9.The women had apparently become irate after requesting to be sat together. Wallace said that restaurant policy only allows for groups of up to six to sit together.Wallace tells WAFB that she got the manager to deal with the women when an exchange of words between Wallace and the women led to an altercation.One woman, according to Wallace, took a wet floor sign and struck her near her eye.Officers were called to the scene but the women had left by the time they arrived.Wallace was taken to the hospital to get stitches for her eye. During the altercation, some of her hair was pulled out and nails broke. A new study has found that those who drink moderate amounts of alcohol or coffee lived longer than those who didn’t, reports the Chicago Tribune.The research was led by University of California neurologist Claudia Kawas who tracked 1,700 nonagenarians enrolled in the 90+ study, which began in 2003.According to researchers, those who drank roughly two glasses of beer or wine a day were 18 percent less likely to experience premature death.The findings mean that, according to the research, drinking alcohol increased longevity more than exercise.The study found that participants who exercised 15 to 45 minutes a day cut their risk of early death by 11 percent.And good news for coffee lovers. Participants who drank two cups of coffee a day also increased longevity by 10 percent.The study also found that people who were overweight in their 70s lived longer than normal or underweight people. 904
