(AP) — Billionaire Elon Musk says he's almost completed a tunnel under a Los Angeles suburb to test a novel transportation system that would scoot commuters underground on electric sleds called skates.Musk tweeted Thursday that, pending regulatory approvals, free rides will be offered to the public in a few months. FROSTPROOF, Fla. — The triple murder of three close friends is under investigation in Florida.The Polk County Sheriff's Office says around 10:06 p.m. on Friday, one victim, 27-year-old Rollins, called his dad for help. Officials say his dad knew Brandon had gone fishing with two of his friends, 30-year-old Keven Springfield and 23-year-old Damion Tillman, who were also victims. All were from Frostproof.Brandon's dad drove to the unincorporated area of Frostproof and when he arrived, he found his son barely alive, officials say. The other two friends were found dead.Brandon's dad drove to a close-by gas station to call 911.When first responders arrived, all three victims were found dead. Officials said they appeared to have been beaten and shot."This is a horrific scene. I've been to a lot of murder scenes in my life and this ranks among the worst I've been to," said Sheriff Grady Judd.According to families, the three men were best friends and knew each other for years. They said the three men were fishing on land, not in a boat."We are seeking leads. We need help so we can solve this crime sooner rather than later because there are one or more, we suspected more, murderers, that killed three people in a quiet community," said Sheriff Judd.The sheriff's office is asking for the public's help on any information on the incident. Have you been thinking about asking your boss for a raise?  Now could be the time to ask, thanks to really low unemployment nationwide.Employers across the country are struggling to fill open positions, because of the low employment rate. "You have more bargaining power right now, and that's whether you are currently employed or whether you are looking for a new opportunity," says Andrew Murtagh, who works at the top staffing firm Robert Half.Before you go and ask for more money, Murtagh says you need to ask yourself a question first.  "You got to understand what you are worth,” he says. “Just because it is a hot market right now doesn't give you a hall pass to go around and start dictating what you want, because that may hurt you."  If you're not wanting to push the limits and ask for a raise, Murtagh says you can still ask for other perks.   "You can be very, very creative and the employer doesn't have to invest huge amounts of money to get a return," he says.  Maybe those perks include a parking spot right in front, a free meal once a week, or maybe flexible work hours so you don't have to sit in rush hour traffic.   "What I always encourage is to have active communication in the work place,” Murtagh suggests. “So, I think if you have a good relationship with your boss, then nothing should come as a surprise.” Just remember, to know your worth. 1427

HAWAII — There was a close call at a preschool in Hawaii.The Hawaii State Department of Health says a classroom assistant mistook Pine-Sol for apple juice while serving snacks.The assistant at Kilohana United Methodist Church in East Oahu was preparing a snack for the children and grabbed a bottle of the cleaning liquid from a clean-up cart in the kitchen on November 27.The assistant apparently mistook it for apple juice because of its similar color, the school's director told the health department inspector.A classroom teacher smelled the cleaning product and stopped students from drinking it.EMS evaluated three students who took small sips of the cleaning liquid, but none of them needed treatment.One parent whose child was in the class says she was shocked a mistake like that could happen.The State Health Department says each year about a dozen people accidentally ingest Pine-Sol, and half of them are kids.CNN contributed to this report. 966
