FREMONT COUNTY, Idaho — Chad Daybell has pleaded not guilty after investigators say they found the remains of two missing children on his property.According to court documents obtained by KSTU on Monday, Daybell entered a not-guilty plea on Friday. The action, filed in the Fremont County court system, also included a request for a jury trial and pre-trial process.Daybell was charged with two felony counts of destruction or concealment of evidence last week after police say they found the remains of Joshua "J.J." Vallow and Tylee Ryan buried on his property in Salem, Idaho.He remains in jail on a million bond.Daybell married the two kids' mother, Lori Vallow, after they went missing in September and after his wife Tammy Daybell died in October. First lady Melania Trump's plane was forced to return to Joint Base Andrews Wednesday after a "mechanical issue" that led to smoke in the cabin.According to the press pool traveling with Trump, about 10 minutes after the plane took off, reporters could see a thin haze of smoke and the smell of something burning. FedEx and Happy Returns are partnering up for a new venture: making returns easier.By the end of October, FedEx will accept certain returns without a box or label, the e-commerce return technology company announced in a press release on Tuesday.“We are thrilled to grow with FedEx Office to bring in-person returns to more online shoppers,” said David Sobie, Co-Founder, and CEO of Happy Returns, in the news release. “In a time of retail uncertainty due to the coronavirus, it is incredibly valuable to add an essential services provider like FedEx Office to our growing network.”To make a return, consumers will first need to receive a QR code from either the retailers' or Happy Returns' website, then bring the item(s) and QR code with you to any of the 2,000 FedEx locations across the nation to complete the return.Customers will also be able to make returns at the FedEx stations that'll be available in 343 Walmart stores across the U.S., USA Today reported.In most cases, Happy Returns initiates refunds and exchanges immediately, the company said. 1065

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Heading to the airport? Pack your worries.  Every day, billions of germs are left all over Southwest Florida International Airport.Biology professor Cliff Renk from Florida Gulf Coast University and student Matt Glass joined us as we took a microscopic look at all the germs we encounter when we fly into and out of the airport. The professor swabbed all sorts of surfaces and using a monitor that counts the number of germs. A reading of 300 on the meter indicates a normal amount of bacteria.One elevator button registered 418. The handles on those luggage carts: a nasty 532.  Escalator handles were about the same but loaded with bacteria colonies. The buttons on the ATM machine in the main concourse were home to almost 80 different colonies of bacteria. But that's just the beginning. If you're flying, everyone needs to go through the security checkpoint.  And the bin you place your phone in -- which you hold to your face -- might be the same one the person before it put his shoes in following a visit to the bathroom. They could carry staph, which can cause pimples, boils and in some cases flesh-eating bacteria. There are about 1000-1500 TSA plastic bins that we place our stuff in when we go through security. We tested the first bin and its handles; it came in came below the normal level. The second tested at more than two times higher.  The third, well that's a different story. Even though the number was 611, Professor Renk says some stomach-churning germ colonies  - more than 300 - were lurking on board, including fecal bacteria and other bacteria generally found on the bottom of shoes. Reps from both the airport and the TSA tell us it's important we remember any public space is a breeding ground for germs and to bring and use hand sanitizer or wipes at all times.  Finally, they say to wash your hands frequently. And speaking of hands we did one last test on reporter Frank Cipolla's hands to show you what any one of us might be lugging around at any moment. He spent all morning at the airport and shook about a dozen hands. Remember, 300 is a normal reading. His right hand registered about 3000.The TSA says it would cost too much money to put hand sanitizer dispensers in every airport in America, so a warning to all travelers. FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Police say a central California man who called 911 and admitted stabbing his mother to death was later shot by officers after he advanced on them while clutching a kitchen knife.Twenty-two-year-old Miguel Carranza is expected to survive and is in custody on suspicion of murder. Carranza called 911 Saturday to report that someone had been killed at the Fresno home he shared with his mother and sister. As the conversation continued, the caller eventually told the dispatcher that he had stabbed his mother. Officials say he was shot after ignoring commands to drop the knife while walking toward officers. 637
