When Rogers finally got to Pensacola a day later, the bags were nowhere to be found."So I had to wind up buying a plane ticket to get back to Ohio so I could get my doctors to get me some more meds," said Rogers.Rogers' bus and plane tickets bringing him to Pensacola, Florida and back to Ohio.A month later, back in Sandusky, Rogers still doesn't have his bags even after constant calls from Roger's roommate, Karin Lucas."A fiasco," said Lucas, describing when she calls Greyhound. "I get transferred constantly. Representatives pass the buck."Rogers and Lucas say when they reach out to Greyhound for help, they're surprised when a live person is on the other end of the line.Lucas says they could get 0 for each of the three lost bags through the Greyhound claim process. But the emergency plane ticket was nearly 0 itself. The rule says only dogs can qualify, and they have to be specially trained to help a person with disabilities. "This final rule defines a service animal as a dog, regardless of breed or type, that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a qualified individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. It allows airlines to recognize emotional support animals as pets, rather than service animals, and permits airlines to limit the number of service animals that one passenger can bring onboard an aircraft to two service animals," the final rule states. Those traveling with a service dog will be required to fill out a form from the DOT "attesting to the animal’s training and good behavior, and certifying the animal’s good health" before flying. For years, some travelers have been bringing untrained dogs and all kinds of other animals on board by claiming they need the animal for emotional support. Airlines believe some passengers were avoiding pet fees by calling their pets emotional-support animals. Scientists are tracking an object heading toward earth that could enter the planet’s orbit, and they are not entirely sure what it is.The object, named Asteroid 2020 SO, is believed to be man made and not a piece of moon or other planetary debris."I suspect this newly discovered object 2020 SO to be an old rocket booster because it is following an orbit about the Sun that is extremely similar to Earth's, nearly circular, in the same plane, and only slightly farther away (than) the Sun at its farthest point," Dr. Paul Chodas, the director of NASA’s Center for Near Earth Object Studies, told CNN."That's precisely the kind of orbit that a rocket stage separated from a lunar mission would follow, once it passes by the Moon and escapes into orbit about the Sun. It's unlikely that an asteroid could have evolved into an orbit like this, but not impossible,” Dr. Chodas continued.Other publications believe the object could be from Surveyor 2, which was launched in September 1966.Scientists are estimating 2020 SO will enter earth’s orbit in November 2020, then pass by earth at a distance of roughly 30,000 miles in December, before heading back out to space in early 2021.For perspective, commercial planes fly at an altitude of about 7 miles on average.There is no danger to earth posed by 2020 SO, but its slow speed and relatively close pass-by, means scientists can study it.
