President Donald Trump's attorney-turned-enemy Michael Cohen is launching a podcast Monday, titled “Mea Culpa." He tells The Associated Press his first guest will be comedian and talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell. Once at odds, Cohen says he and O'Donnell have become friends and bonded as a result of the grudge they bear toward Trump. “First episode. First interview. First feud. First family,” Cohen told The Associated Press by phone late Thursday.Trump and O’Donnell have engaged in a lengthy public feud. Challenged during a presidential primary debate in 2015 about how he described some women as “fat pigs,” “dogs” and “slobs,” Trump responded by saying: “Only Rosie O’Donnell.”Cohen says his relationship with O'Donnell began while he was imprisoned for tax crimes, lying to congress and campaign finance violations. He says O'Donnell sent him a six-page letter. Cohen wrote an apology in response, which prompted O'Donnell to visit him in prison. 961

President Donald Trump's estranged adviser Steve Bannon told a far-right gathering in France on Saturday that they should handle accusations of racism with pride."Let them call you racists," Bannon said to the French National Front Party. "Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists. Wear it as a badge of honor."Bannon told the National Front crowd that he had learned from traveling the world that "history is on our side" and that "the globalists have no answers to freedom."At a news conference following his speech, Bannon gave his explanation for the recent high-profile staff departures from the White House. In response to a question from CNN, Bannon said, "I think President Trump has been pretty straightforward in saying, hey, when we first started, some of these advisers are what he would call globalists, and he's clearly pivoting to more economic nationalism."Bannon added that the pivot was partly in order to prepare for the upcoming midterm elections."He's got to energize that base and turn that base out," he said.Bannon was himself a high-profile departure from the White House last August and was written off by Trump earlier this year, who named him "sloppy Steve," following the publication in January of incendiary comments attributed to him.Following the White House's disavowal of Bannon, the right-wing media company Breitbart News parted ways with Bannon, who has since emerged in the public eye on a few occasions.Last week, Bannon appeared in Rome to observe the elections and advocated for an alliance between the anti-immigrant League party and the populist Five Star Movement in Italy.The-CNN-Wire? & ? 2018 Cable News Network, Inc., a Time Warner Company. Rap musician T.I. was not happy to hear that a Florida student was being denied a meal for being 15 cents short on the first day of school. Last week, T.I. announced he was going to pay for the student's school lunch bill, for the entire year. "This s--- is despicable!!!" T.I. tweeted. "This is the kinda s--- that deters kids from coming to school. I’d like to take care of her school lunch for the year. I hate to hear this type of thing happening to our children. Petty a-- peon a--, poor excuse for a grown person."Earlier this month, Kimberly Aiken told WKMG-TV in Orlando that her daughter, a sophomore at University High School in Orange City, Florida, was told that she owed 15 cents when she went through the lunch line. When she told the cashier that she didn't have any money on her, the cashier allegedly threw the food away.Aiken's daughter did not eat anything for the rest of the school day.According to CBS News, Aiken signed her daughter up for a free and reduced-cost lunch program at University High School. However, the program hadn't taken effect yet. Aiken suspects that the 15-cent deficit was carried over from last year.A spokesperson for the Volusia County Public Schools said the district has contacted the family directly about the issue. 1310
