BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vice Chairman of China's Central Military Commission Xu Qiliang met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan Rashad Mahmood in Beijing on Wednesday.
Calling the "one belt, one road" plan constructive, open and pragmatic, he said it offers opportunities for common development of the Asia-Pacific region and countries around the world.
"We can set an average level, maybe the middle-lower one, and different regions can adjust according to local financial situations by a certain degree. The central government should relocate funds from rich regions to poor ones to balance revenue," she said.
"China's decision on foreign aid projects adheres to strict standards," Shen said, refuting recent reports that China's foreign aid projects were disproportionately in favor of leaders' home towns in recipient countries.
Leaders from 51 Asian and European countries, EU institutions and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) exchanged views on several issues, including traditional and non-traditional security challenges during the summit.
