Works and other TBI survivors are now finding healing through LoveYourBrain Yoga, an evidence-based program now in dozens of states. Home sales are already seeing a slump compared to 2017 and the trend is expected to continue in 2019, with an expected 3.3 percent drop.“While home prices are predicted to temper next year, interest rates will likely rise and compound housing affordability issues,” said C.A.R. President Steve White.“Would-be buyers who are concerned that home prices may have peaked will wait on the sidelines until they have more clarity on where the housing market is headed. This could hold back housing demand and hamper home sales in 2019.”Meanwhile, the median home price is forecast to increase by 3.1 percent to 3,450 in 2019, following a 7 percent increase in 2018.The association added that the surge in home prices due to supply shortages is finally taking a toll on the market. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A second man has been charged in the smuggling of a Bengal tiger cub into the United States from Mexico on August 23, 2017.Eriberto Paniagua - who allegedly told officials at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry that the Bengal tiger cub at his feet was merely a “cat” - was indicted by a federal grand jury and made his first court appearance on Monday. According to the indictment unsealed today, the 21-year-old conspired with the driver of the car, 18-year-old Luis Valencia, and others to knowingly import the tiger cub into the United States. San Diego (KGTV)- A high school teen decided to use his passion for science and astronomy to create a virtual space camp. The teen hopes to spark the interest of kids around the county and beyond.Ryan Clairmont is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy High School. He says his interest in astronomy started at a young age.“I remember when I was 6 or 7 years old, I went to the Palomar observatory,” says Clairmont. “I was able to look through their 60-inch telescope at Jupiter and the moon. It was an eye-opening experience for me.”The teen had plans to participate in a bio-physics internship this summer, but it was canceled due to the pandemic.“At that point, I realized there must be a lot of other children in San Diego and across the country, whose in-person summer programs have been canceled for the summer.”That’s when Clairmont created Cosmoto, a free virtual space for kids.Each day kids will learn about a different space topic and participate in hands-on science experiments and activities. All of the materials for the activities are low-cost items you can find at home.
