(AP) — A fire at an oil storage facility in the San Francisco Bay Area prompted a hazardous materials emergency Tuesday afternoon that led authorities to order about 12,000 people in two communities to stay inside with all windows and doors closed.Thick plumes of black smoke and flames filled the skyline around the NuStar Energy LP facility in Crockett, California, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) northeast of San Francisco."This is a very dynamic, rapidly evolving situation," said Capt. Collin Green sent notice to Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher that his status as a SEAL is under review, according to his lawyer.The process, commonly called a Trident Review, could strip Gallagher of his trident pin and remove him from the SEAL teams, though his rank and paygrade in the Navy would not be changed.“It’s ordinarily a procedure used for a substandard performer or somebody who’s committing safety violations,” said Timothy Parlatore, a civilian attorney for Gallagher.RELATED: Trump restores rank of San Diego Navy SEAL following war crimes caseParlatore said Gallagher is planning on retiring as soon as possible, so the move to strip his trident pin would not have any dramatic effect on his current role.“It has no legitimate value for someone about to retire,” said Parlatore. “It is purely a retaliation. CLEVELAND — Police in the Cleveland area now report a total of five Amazon delivery trucks have been stolen in northeast Ohio since Nov. 25, and with them, hundreds of packages. Investigators say in some cases the vehicles are taken by thieves as the Amazon driver leaves the running truck to make a delivery.Cleveland Heights Police Chief Annette Mecklenburg said that's exactly what happened on Dec. 13, after thieves stole an Amazon vehicle during a delivery."The driver was delivering a package, she had exited the truck and was putting it on the porch," Mecklenburg said. “A truck pulled up and one of the men got out and jumped in the Amazon truck and drove away. The truck had been left running with the keys in it. It is possible up to 200 packages, we believe, were in the truck at the time it was stolen. To me it’s just heartbreaking for all the people who had ordered. You know people were ordering online to be safe because they didn’t want to get sick, so many more people were ordering on-line and were looking forward to these packages and these gifts. It’s so close to Christmas, it really is sad, I feel horrible for the people who may not get these packages in time for the holidays.”Mecklenburg said the Amazon driver was not hurt, and said GPS tracking on-board the delivery truck helped speed-up the recovery effort.“Unfortunately, there were no cameras on the truck, and at this time we couldn’t find any cameras in the immediate area where the truck was stolen,” Mecklenburg said. “It’s my understanding that it’s their policy to leave them running when they exit it to deliver a package. Companies everywhere are hopping on the bandwagon to eliminate plastic straws, as plastic becomes harder and harder to recycle.An Oregon man, who started his glass straw business over a decade ago, is finally seeing his business take off.“We’re still doing the same thing we’ve been doing for over 12 years,” says Craig Graffius.But when Graffius started making straws out of glass to cut down on plastic, he was on to something.“A sustainable product is so much better than a throw away product,” says Graffius. “By far.”And this June, it seems a lot more people agreed with him.“500% percent, 600 percent growth overnight,” Graffius says.Suddenly, Graffius found he couldn’t keep up with the demand.
