(KGTV) — Two people were killed and a third person was seriously hurt in a head-on collision in Ramona on Wednesday.CHP said at about 12:15 p.m., a 56-year-old woman was driving a 2016 Ford Focus northbound on Mussey Grade Road, south of Mahogany Ranch Rd., at a high rate of speed. At the same time, an unidentified woman was driving a 2017 Subaru Impreza southbound on the same road.For reasons that are unclear, CHP said the driver of the Focus lost control of her vehicle and veered into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with the Impreza.The driver of the Focus and a male passenger in the Impreza died at the scene, CHP said. The driver of the Subaru was taken to Palomar Medical Center with major injuries.CHP says they believe both occupants in the Subaru were wearing a seat belt, but the driver of the Ford was not at the time of the crash.It's unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. 943

Reservations will be required on Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner route during the Thanksgiving holiday period to safely manage the increase of travelers and control the spread of COVID-19.The company announced Thursday that a reservation will be required on trains that travel between San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties beginning Monday, Nov. 23 through Nov. 30 to help manage the capacity and allow customers to socially distance.Additionally, the Rail 2 Rail program will be suspended during this period, and monthly Metrolink and COASTER passes will not be accepted onboard Pacific Surfliner trains on these dates.Amtrak monthly and 10-ride passes may still be used. (KGTV) — The Fairbanks Ranch Country Club is an oasis along an otherwise remote stretch of road that winds away from Del Mar.But for a number of female employees working inside its clubhouse, it was something much darker.A new lawsuit filed by the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleges that around 2016, former manager Shant Karian sexually harassed a number of the workers, with financial consequences if they didn't play along.For one of the workers, the suit says Karian repeatedly made sexual advances, hitting her buttocks, putting his arm around her waste and choking her, and repeatedly pursuing her sexually.
