It's the second such success including "Berlin patient" Timothy Ray Brown.Such transplants are dangerous and have failed in other patients. The new findings were published online Monday by the journal Nature.The London patient has not been identified. He was diagnosed with HIV in 2003. A hospital spokeswoman said 24-year-old Summer Taylor of Seattle died Saturday evening at Harborview Medical Center. Officials say Taylor and 32-year-old Diaz Love of Portland, Oregon, were hit by the car that barreled through a panicked crowd of protesters on Interstate 5 early Saturday morning. The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that the city’s Historic Districts Review Board denied a request Tuesday to allow Martin to exceed the building height limit in the historic district where he lives. Neighbors objected to the project, saying they didn't want a visible castle in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
