SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A new report out Thursday shows that the United States will gain 23 new million cities within the next year, and San Diego didn't shy away from the list. According to Zillow, a million city is defined as a city with a median home value of million or more.It’s no surprise that San Diego has five such cities. Included in the list is Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Coronado, Solana Beach and Encinitas.One of those cities, Encinitas, became a million city within the last year. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego financial expert in San Diego has a message for women looking for success: a man is not a financial plan.Most women would rather talk with the grandmothers about their love lives than talk about financial planning, according to an investment survey done by Oppenheimer Funds.CPA Ginita Wall has a clear message.“Every marriage ends in either divorce or widowhood and 70 percent of the time it’s the woman who’s left alone,” said Wall. “Then thinking that magically, someday, I’ll start saving for retirement, someday I’ll be able to buy a house; living in the someday and not really planning for it today.”Wall moved her CPA practice to San Diego 31 years ago. She realized there was a need.“Women were out in the marketplace, but they weren't managing the money, and sadly, often nobody was.”Wall and financial planner Candace Bahr launched the Women’s Institute for Financial Education (WIFE), a nonprofit to give women the tools to start making a difference.“We didn't have anything to sell anybody. Our whole goal was and continues to be ‘our goal is education,’” said Bahr.Wall and Bahr established Second Saturday, a monthly workshop to teach women what they need to know during divorce. Each session brings in an attorney for matters of the court. Wall gives financial advice, a counselor helps with family issues, and a mediator can settle the differences. The experts volunteer their time.“It’s a decision for many people that may be the largest financial decision of their life, and if you're going through it uninformed or too emotional, it's going to be difficult to make the right choices.”Wall says love and money go together, but so do arguments.“if you loved me more, you wouldn't be spending this money, spending more on me, or you would understand how I feel.” Wall advises couples to talk about what’s important to them, make goals, create a concrete plan and monitor it.“So we want women to be partners in a relationship, not dependents,” said Bahr.Wall and Bahr’s money message has gone national. Second Saturday is now in 115 other locations around the country, and there are plans to be in 500 cities soon.“It's amazing because we didn't set out to do this for 31 years. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Harley-Davidson owner is hoping for leads after his motorcycle disappeared from a mall parking lot in Mission Valley.Sebastian Rudi, who works at Westfield Mission Valley, was expecting to see his newly purchased 2002 Harley after his shift ended around 10 p.m. Saturday. Instead the bike that was parked in the underground lot, feet from the ramp into the mall, was gone."A little panic ... mixture of anger and pure disappointment," said Rudi.MAP: Track crime happening in your neighborhoodThat may actually an understatement. The ,000 bike he bought in April was his pride and joy."I spent my entire life wanting a Harley. Spent every cent to my name on a Harley. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Linda Vista grandfather is missing a pricey, sentimental piece of jewelry after trying to help out some strangers.Steve Phakdy says his 71-year-old father was attending an event at a Buddhist temple in Chollas View more than a week ago, when a white Chevy Tahoe pulled up. "Flagging him down, saying, 'Hello mister.' The husband says, 'It's my wife's birthday. Can you give her a blessing?'" said Phakdy.Phakdy says his father did something to acknowledge the birthday. A woman in her 30s then got out of the SUV."She hugs my dad," said Phakdy. In the backseat was a baby in a car seat."The husband gets out and says, 'We have some jewelry to give you or show you,'" said Phakdy.Together, the two placed rings on his hands, wrapping necklaces around his neck and arms."The husband was grabbing his wrist. Turning it around doing this and doing that," said Phakdy.His father offered to pay for the jewelry, but the couple quickly drove off. "Was looking at the bracelet they gave him and hey, wait, where's my bracelet?" said Phakdy.Gone was a 24-karat-gold-and-diamond bracelet, an anniversary gift from his wife. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A man who admitted to several "Peeping Tom" instances in the Pacific Beach area was sentenced Wednesday.James Wayne Hubbard, 48, was sentenced to 364 days in jail for the series of incidents between Sept. 11 and Oct. 12.Hubbard pleaded guilty to three counts of peeping and prowling as part of a plea deal.
