In a joint status update filed in federal court, Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team claimed that former Trump campaign head Paul Manafort had lied to investigators after promising to cooperate with Mueller as part of a plea agreement. On Sept. 14, Manafort pleaded guilty on charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States and witness tampering. (KGTV) - A helicopter crew based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar landed safely in Imperial Thursday after a fire broke out, military officials reported.The CH-53E Super Stallion with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 465, Marine Aircraft Group 16, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing was on a routine training mission at 1 p.m. when the flames broke out, according to a 3rd MAW spokesman.The helicopter landed safely at the Imperial County Airport. We’ve volunteered picking up trash in the neighborhood, volunteering at animal shelters, feeding the homeless.
