Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon announced a proposed expansion of 'Social Host Law' to include opioids. The original law was passed in 2014 to curb underage drinking. According to law, it "will serve to deter the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minor by holding those persons who are 21 years old or more responsible when they knowingly allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors at their residences or on their privately owned property."The Erie County Sheriff's Office have been called to 81 instances of youth activity underage drinking since Jan. 1, 2017. The goal of the new expansion of the law is to hold parents and adults accountable for the actions of minors in their home or on their property for the use of underage drinking, illegal use of opioid and substances.Any person who violates the law will be fined. (KGTV) - An Encinitas man is trying to drum up some comfort amid the coronavirus pandemic by making some noise.Every night at 8 p.m., across the town of Windsor Locks, CT, the sound of bells of all sizes cuts through the quiet isolation. The town is the hometown of Encinitas resident of Rob LaBreche."It shows the neighbors are thinking about each other, and that is a positive thing," said LaBreche.Labreche decided to try to ring in some positivity in his own neighborhood. He posted his plans on the Nextdoor app and early this week, he and his kids got out some pots and pans at 7 p.m. and started making noise.That night, about five other neighbors joined them."To be honest, I kind of felt silly out there banging the pots and pans, but then when you're silent and feel other neighbors doing the same thing ... it makes you feel good and you know we're all in this together," said LaBreche.Since then, the idea has continued to resonate. Evacuations have been ordered for northern Arizona communities due to the Tinder Fire burning near Happy Jack.According to Coconino County officials, evacuations were ordered Sunday by the Coconino County Sheriff's Office for affected communities north, east and west of Highway 87 including Moqui Ranchettes, all of Starlight Pines, Clear Creek (except 1 and 2), all of Timber Ranch, all of Tamarron, Pine Canyon, Blue Ridge Estates, Ponderosa Pines, and Mogollon Ranches. The evacuation will be in effect until further notice, deputies will stay in the area to provide 24-hour security.  The fire has burned an estimated 8,000 acres and is burning 1.5 miles northeast of Blue Ridge Reservoir.
