Officials at the Carmel Valley school changed the dress code Friday for the 2019-2020 school year. CCHS said it would ban the uniform skirts, citing multiple detentions based on enforcement. Female students will have the option to wear pants, capri pants, or Bermuda shorts, the school said. “By removing the option for girls to wear skirts at a Catholic school not only demeans me as a female, but makes me wonder if we are moving towards a gender neutral society. I believe this is sexist, patriarchal and sexualizes the female students unnecessarily,” said freshman student Rachel Donaldson. Hunter said he would plead guilty to one count of misusing campaign funds in an interview with San Diego TV station KUSI. "My trial was set for January 22 -- that's not going to happen now. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Authorities have identified the pilot killed in a plane crash in the Kearny Mesa area Wednesday morning as 61-year-old Dr. John Serocki. According to authorities, just after 6:30 a.m., a Cirrus SR22T crashed nose-first in a construction site in the 4400 block of Ruffin Road, blocks away from Montgomery Field.San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officials confirmed Serocki, who was the plane's lone occupant, died in the crash.
