President Donald Trump visited California on Monday to receive an update on the dozens of wildfires that are currently raging across the Western United States.During a visit to McClellan Park, California on Monday, Trump received a briefing from local officials on the status of the fires that have killed 33 people in three states dating back to mid-August.The president then spoke at a ceremony recognizing the California National Guard, which has hundreds of members helping to battle the fires. Dianne Feinstein of California stating that Stone was declining Feinstein's requests, which she released over Twitter on Tuesday."The requests, as previously stated to staff, are far too overbroad, far too overreaching, far too wide ranging both in their all-embracing list of persons to whom the request could relate with whom Mr. Stone has communicated over the past three years, and the 'documents concerning' imprecision of the requests," Smith wrote."Mr. Stone's invocation of his Fifth Amendment privilege must be understood by all to be the assertion of a Constitutional right by an innocent citizen who denounces secrecy," the letter states.Smith noted that Stone has already testified to the House Intelligence Committee. Special counsel Robert Mueller is also investigating whether Stone was communicating with Julian Assange and WikiLeaks during the 2016 election either directly or through intermediaries.As the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Feinstein has no power to compel Stone to testify or produce documents. (KGTV) — Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash east of Ramona on Sunday.The collision happened on Littlepage Road and Old Julian Highway, in the Witch Creek area, just after 2 p.m. between a motorcycle and off-road side-by-side utility task vehicle, often called a UTV, according to CAL FIRE San Diego.The two people riding on the motorcycle were pronounced dead at the scene. (KGTV) – Sheriff’s investigators and San Diego Police Detectives worked together to arrest three men after a series of small business burglaries in the Poway and Rancho Bernardo area.Robbers shattered the glass doors of Tony Pepperoni early Sunday morning and stole the restaurant’s safe."I was just happy it was at 5 a.m., and nobody was here and everyone's safe," said Sarah Dean, the manager of the pizza place. She said security cameras caught the burglary on camera.Pattaya Thai, the restaurant right across the street, was also broken into early Sunday morning.Dean believed the same thieves robbed both restaurants, which are in Rancho Carmel Village Center.The next break in the case came from more than three miles away in 4S Ranch on Sunday afternoon when a neighbor reported loud noise coming from behind the Boys and Girls Club.When deputies arrived, they found three men trying to crack the Tony Pepperoni’s safe.Sheriff’s investigators and SDPD detectives arrested and questioned Da'Shon Morales, 20, Jesus Ruiz Arias Jr., 19, and Fernando Vazquez Cruz, 20, on Sunday night in connection with burglary, possession of stolen property and other crimes. 1206
