SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Passengers in a deadly bus crash near Fallbrook on I-15 Saturday suffered broken bones, cuts and scrapes, according to California Highway Patrol.A 23-year-old woman from Mexico, a 73-year-old woman from Pasadena, and a 67-year-old woman from Riverside lost their lives in the crash.In a press release CHP stated 8 of the 20 passengers were from Mexico, one was from Temecula and the others were from Southern California. Their ages range from 5-years-old to 75-years-old.READ RELATED: At least three dead, 18 injured in bus rollover on Interstate 15The 5-year-old boy who was airlifted to the University of Riverside Health Services Medical Center has life threatening head injuries. He was from Mexico.Four passengers are being cared for at Inland Valley Medical Center. Seven are being treated at Temecula Valley Medical Center. Five are at the Palomar Medical Center.CHP issued a correction, saying there were 21 people total on the bus, instead of 22 as they reported Saturday. The error came from double counting the driver.CHP said the National Transportation and Safety Board is arriving Monday to investigate the crash.The bus crashed off the side of South Bound I-15 around 10:25 a.m. Saturday while rain was falling south of Fallbrook. 1272

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are asking that additional victims come forward in a San Diego sexual assault case. According to police, Seth Roberts, 18, was arrested on December 5 for multiple sexual assaults around San Diego County that happened between early October and late November. Based on the circumstances of the cases, the San Diego Police Department Sex Crimes Unit is looking for additional victims or anyone with information. According to police, Roberts reportedly identified himself to young women and befriended them by telling them he’s from out-of-state before sexually assaulting them. According to public records, Roberts was previously arrested in Oklahoma for harboring a runaway child felon. Records also show that in April of 2018, a permanent protective order was issued against Roberts in Oklahoma. The order was filed on behalf of a 16-year-old who says Roberts inappropriately touched her even after she asked him to stop. The protective order goes on to say the victim's mother wanted criminal charges filed, but none are listed. He is currently being held on ,250,000 bail. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Once election results start to come in, some of the races could be so close to call that they could lead to legal battles in court. Eugene Volokh, a constitutional law professor at UCLA, explained that it is likely some races could be so close that we won't know the results for a few days, maybe even weeks. When it comes to the presidential race, Volokh said that if the results are a landslide, the likelihood of legal challenges are close to none. If it's a tight race, Volokh said we could see litigation in states where it is just too close to call. Recounts are also possible, but the professor said that it wouldn't be a national recount; instead, it would only focus on the states that have tight races. Across the country, there have already been some legal battles. In Houston, a federal judge refused to invalidate nearly 127,000 drive-thru mail-in ballots following a lawsuit filed by a group of Republicans. In Nevada, a judge rejected another GOP lawsuit aiming to stop early voting over signature-matching software and observers when votes are being counted. If there is need for legal action, in any of the races, Volokh said it would likely be resolved in a couple of weeks. 1221

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - North Park’s Chicken Pie Shop is celebrating 80 years in business Friday and Saturday with deals for customers.The restaurant was originally located on 5th Avenue downtown. Then-owner George Whitehead moved his business to Hillcrest. The storefront at 5th and Robinson now houses a Starbucks.Eventually, Whitehead’s longtime employee John Townsend bought the business and moved it to El Cajon Blvd. at Oregon St. Townsend handed it down to his two sons.“Our father worked so hard for so many years. It’s a grind; you gotta be up for the task each and every day.”Bob Townsend is proud of the Chicken Pie Shop's history. He estimates the number of chicken pies sold at more than 30 million.“People just keep coming,” said Townsend. “They respect good old-school cooking.”Townsend described customers who travel to San Diego and head straight to North Park from the airport. Others buy coolers to bring home some of the restaurant’s frozen creations. Some devoted patrons included boxer Archie Moore and Mesa College coach Bill Sandback, both of whom Townsend served regularly until they passed.It’s not just the customers who stick around. The restaurant's dessert baker has been working for Chicken Pie Shop for 55 years and is now in his 80s.“If I made him retire, he’d probably die,” Townsend said.While Townsend is invested in the family legacy, his wife Lisa takes care of day-to-day operations while Townsend works as an instructor at Riverwalk Golf Course in Mission Valley. The Townsend family tradition may continue. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are working to identify a body discovered at a shipyard along San Diego Bay.The body, only described as a white male, was found at Continental Maritime of San Diego shortly before 12 p.m. Saturday. The shipyard sits underneath the Coronado Bay Bridge.Harbor Police are not sure who the man is and are investigating.No further information was immediately released.10News is monitoring this breaking news story. 453
