BREAKING: Investigators have identified the remains as those of Hania Noeila Aguilar. More on this as it develops.ORIGINAL STORY: Investigators following leads in the disappearance of a 13-year-old North Carolina girl have found a body that is awaiting positive identification, the FBI said.Hania Noelia Aguilar was abducted outside her home in Lumberton on the morning of November 5, 2018, authorities said. The body was found Tuesday afternoon in Robeson County, the FBI said in a statement, just a few miles from Hania's home.Investigators notified the missing teen's family "out of an abundance of caution," but no confirmation has been made of the body's identity, the FBI said."Please continue to pray for Hania, her family, and each other as the investigation continues to find out who kidnapped Hania and hold them responsible," the FBI said.Police say someone drove away with Hania in a relative's SUV that was parked in the driveway Monday morning before school, prompting authorities to issue an Amber Alert for her.A witness saw a man dressed in black and wearing a yellow bandana force Hania into the vehicle. Authorities said they have no reason to think Hania knew her abductor and her family is cooperating with the investigation. The stolen SUV was found abandoned less than 10 miles from Hania's home at the Rosewood Mobile Home Park, authorities said.Lumberton police and the FBI asked residents with video surveillance systems to save video recordings, even if they don't see the vehicle in the footage, and contact them. Most recently, FBI Charlotte released a photo of sneakers that belonged to Aguilar, hoping to generate more tips about the teenager's disappearance. The Lumberton Police Department and the FBI have followed more than 800 leads, interviewed more than 400 people and reviewed hours of surveillance footage since the kidnapping, according to officials with the FBI in Charlotte.A reward for information that leads to her has risen to ,000, Lumberton police Chief Michael McNeill said Friday.The-CNN-Wire 2055

BOISE, Idaho — Two high-profile geothermal water-line breaks in Downtown Boise have residents a bit concerned — especially since the city has plans to expand the system. But the City of Boise said the leaks were a lot less dramatic than the cool air mixed with steam made them look (images show bright green colors in the air), and are looking forward to the future of innovative geothermal ideas.Boise's geothermal heat system has been in full operation since the 1980s, and as usual, using water and metal is a recipe for corrosion. But the city says it is doing its best to remain proactive."A lot of people walk the streets of Downtown Boise and have no idea that such a big footprint of Downtown Boise is heated with this renewable, clean resource that we take advantage of in a big way every day," said Colin Hickman, communications manager in the Public Works Department for the City of Boise. It's a system that dates back to the 1890s when Boise began using geothermal heat for Victorian homes and the original natatorium. In 1983, Boise began the geothermal heat system, now holding the record for the largest geothermal system in the United States, supplying heat to 92 buildings in Downtown Boise."That equates to about 6-million square feet," Hickman said. It’s primarily used for heating buildings but it also provides heat for the YMCA pool, as well as sidewalks, providing shovel-free snow removal in the winter.JUMP is one of the buildings that uses the system."It's really a smart investment for JUMP, and for our community, as it's a low cost, clean, renewable, and local energy source, it made sense on a lot of levels," said Kathy O’Neill, the community engagement director at JUMP.The geothermal water is pumped from a well in the Boise Foothills. It's then brought downtown underneath buildings and run through pipes, where the water is sitting at 170 degrees. It's then put in a heat exchanger where it takes off about 55-degrees of that water, to heat the building.Afterward, it's taken back to be redeposited at Julia Davis Park. That process only started in 1999. Before then, the geothermal water was taken out of the aquifer, then disposed of in the Boise River — and aquifer levels started to decline. That happened until that re-injection site was made at Julia Davis Park, bringing aquifer levels right back up to where they began."The carbon footprint is almost nothing. it relies almost entirely on electricity just to pump up. There's no fossil fuel being used. It's a really clean and efficient energy," Hickman said.It also comes with a relatively low price tag."As far as our overall utilities, the geothermal is not a substantial cost for the city," Hickman said. The geothermal heating bill is costing about ,000 each winter month for the entire downtown area. And lucky for Boise, it's a system very unique to the Western U.S."It really comes down to where geothermal, an aquifer is available. And so it's really, Boise is very fortunate to have this aquifer right under our streets," Hickman said. The City of Boise's representatives said they are looking forward to expansion plans and new innovative uses of the geothermal system. 3208

Bottles of water, bags of clothes and foldout tables are set up and ready at a Phoenix church awaiting the next busload of asylum-seeking families released by ICE.Pastor Angel Campos at Monte Vista Cross-Cultural Church confirms his church is temporarily housing families upon their release from ICE. "They leave their homes; they leave everything," Campos said. "They say that their belongings mean nothing without their lives."Back in October, ICE officials announced they were releasing an increased number of families amid a surge of them showing up at the border and a limit to how long they can detain families. "You hear the stories; you hear the pain," Campos said. An unknown number of Phoenix-area churches are temporarily taking in the families upon their release from ICE as they work to connect with other relatives across the country. The families are equipped with ankle monitors and still have to go through the immigration court process.Statistics show the number of "family units" that are apprehended along the Southwest border has surged in recent months. Campos says he reached out to ICE to offer up his church to help with this process. He says he is surprised by how many people have shown up in buses, estimating more than 800 people have come through his church since early October, with the most recent group of people arriving this past Thursday. Campos said nearly everyone from that group has since left the church. "We have to be strong, not to fall in love with them so much that it hurts you when they leave," Campos said. Campos said donations, including clothes and bottled water, are welcome.  1692

BERLIN (AP) — Holocaust survivors are lending their voices to a campaign targeting Facebook head Mark Zuckerberg, urging him to take action to remove denial of the Nazi genocide from the social media site. Coordinated by the New York-based Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, the #NoDenyingIt campaign launched Wednesday uses Facebook itself to make the survivors’ entreaties to Zuckerberg heard with one video per day being posted urging him to remove Holocaust denying groups, pages and posts as hate speech. Facebook says it already takes down Holocaust denial posts in countries where it is illegal and elsewhere removes “any post that celebrates, defends, or attempts to justify the Holocaust.” 725
