Lousiana State University is adjusting some restrictions for its football games this season. On Monday, LSU's athletic department said they would stop medical wellness checks at entry gates to reduce lines and wait times."While no longer required for entry, LSU Athletics officials encourage fans to conduct a self-assessment before heading to the game to check for COVID-19 symptoms," officials said in the press release.Officials also announced that alcohol will now be sold at games.Fans must wear a mask when buying alcohol, and can only consume their drinks in their seats, officials said.Officials added that fans must wear masks during the entire game, since "a large percentage of fans removed their masks while in their seats in Tiger Stadium" when the Tigers hosted Mississippi State back in September. 819

Marjory Stoneman Douglas school shooter Nikolas Cruz told a detective shortly after the February massacre that a voice in his head the night before the shooting told him to hurt people.Cruz is accused of killing 17 students and faculty at the school in Parkland, Florida. Court documents show the former student has confessed to being the gunman. However, a judge entered a plea of not guilty on Cruz's after he stood mute to the charges in March.Documents released Monday by the Broward County state attorney's office include a transcript of Cruz's conversation with a detective after his arrest on the day of the shooting, February 14. The transcript shows the gunman talking about his deceased parents and a demon that Cruz said was in his head. The document also details a meeting Cruz had with his younger brother. 827

Many Americans have been working from home for months now and students have also been attending class from home.Your make-shift office or classroom may not be that comfortable. Some common complaints may include pain in the neck, shoulders, wrist, forearm, lower back, hips and legs.Physical therapists say if the family is sharing one workspace, it's important it can be adjusted.“You’d like to have a chair that matches the size of the person,” said Michelle Despres, a physical therapy expert. “It should have some adjustability. It should have some variability in what the chair can do. It should provide support for the lower back. It should have support for your legs. You should be able to put your feet flat on the floor and your thighs should be parallel to the floor.”If you're not looking to buy a desk or chair, you can still adjust by using books as a footrest. It's also important your computer setup is comfortable. If you can, try to use a monitor, or an external keyboard and mouse pad.If you are going to buy one thing for your workspace, Despres says a chair is a great investment.“Maybe, if you make one purchase, then probably the chair is the best purchase,” said Despres. “That's something that you can raise and lower. That's something that can adjust the back. You can go to the stores and sit in the chairs, try them out, adjust the arms.”You should be stretching as often as you can. If you're constantly sitting, make sure to stand often. Try to walk around. stretch your wrists or heel raises to get your blood moving. While you're sitting, make sure your shoulders are relaxed and not shrugging. 1630

Mexico's incoming government on Saturday night denied that an official deal had been made regarding migrants staying in the country before entering the United States, Mexico's incoming interior secretary, Olga Sánchez Cordero, said according to a statement acquired by CNN.The statement is at odds with a previous report by The Washington Post, which had claimed that the incoming Mexican government supported a Trump administration plan that would require individuals seeking asylum to remain south of the US border while their applications are being processed.Earlier on Saturday, the Post reported that the new Trump administration border policy had garnered the incoming Mexican government's support, citing Mexican officials and senior members of Mexican president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador's transition team. The Post report included quotes from Sánchez Cordero that the incoming government had agreed to the policy.PHOTOS: Migrants converge on Tijuana-San Diego borderIn the statement Saturday night, Sánchez Cordero explained that the next administration does not have any plans to make Mexico a "third safe country" for migrants."Mexico's next federal administration does not consider within its plans that Mexico assume the condition of "third secure country" for the attention of Central American migrants or citizens of other countries in Mexican territory or those who will have that intention in the future," Sánchez Cordero said in the statement. 1477

Mark Zuckerberg is finally breaking his silence five days after a data scandal engulfed Facebook. The Facebook CEO pledged in a post on Wednesday to take a series of steps to protect user data and said he is ultimately responsible for whatever happens on the platform."We have a responsibility to protect your data, and if we can't then we don't deserve to serve you," Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post. "I've been working to understand exactly what happened and how to make sure this doesn't happen again."News broke this weekend that Cambridge Analytica, a data firm with ties to President Donald Trump's campaign, reportedly accessed information from about 50 million Facebook users without their knowledge.Facebook says the data was initially collected by a professor for academic purposes in line with its rules. The information was later transferred to third parties, including Cambridge Analytica, in violation of Facebook's policies. The controversy wiped away nearly billion from Facebook's stock price earlier this week and prompted politicians on both sides of the Atlantic to call for Zuckerberg to testify.Facebook is now facing lawsuits from investors and users as well as a "delete Facebook" movement. The latest member of the latter: Brian Acton, the cofounder of WhatsApp, which Facebook acquired for billion in 2014. 1350
