A new complaint has been filed against casino owner Steve Wynn.The complaint was filed by a woman identified only as "Jane Doe." According to the complaint, the woman was an employee for The Claude Baruk Salon in 2015 when she began giving manicures and pedicures to Wynn.She says that Wynn would require her to position herself in certain ways during the services that would put her in direct contact with body parts other than his hands or feet. When she would attempt to withdraw, he would become irritated.According to the complaint, Jane Doe went to Claude Baruk and other members of management. She says that Baruk ignored her complaints but she was told by other members of management that it would stop.Jane Doe says she also shared what happened with her coworkers and heard similar stories. The woman says that she feared that she would lose her job if she kept complaining.After the story broke in the Washington Post, the woman says that Wynn visited the salon twice to speak with salon employees.The first time was on Jan. 27. Wynn reportedly requested the employees to be gathered and then asked them to raise their hands if they felt he had ever assaulted them.The second time was on Feb. 1 during a birthday party for a salon employee. Jane Doe says Wynn brought a video crew with him that time and demanded that employees give video statements saying he did nothing wrong.The complaint also says that Wynn is still receiving manicures and pedicures in the salon or in his on-site villa.The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday with the Clark County District Court. Two lawsuits were filed last week by massage therapists who also accused Wynn of inappropriate conduct.Wynn resigned as CEO of Wynn Resorts last month. He is denying all allegations but said that he did not believe he could be an effective company leader.He also resigned as chairman for the Republican National Committee.  1915

A New York City judge has dismissed a claim by Donald Trump’s brother that sought to halt the publication of a tell-all book by the president’s niece. In a ruling Thursday, Judge Peter Kelly said the Surrogates Court lacked jurisdiction in the case. Mary Trump is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr., the president’s elder brother, who died in 1981. An online description of her book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man," says it reveals “a nightmare of traumas, destructive relationships, and a tragic combination of neglect and abuse.”Mary Trump's book was the second book Trump's league team attempted to stop from publishing in recent weeks. A new warning has come that more older adults, over the age of 65, are dying from falls.According to the Centers for Disease Control it's increased from about 18,000 a decade ago to 30,000 in 2016. That number could climb to as many as 59,000 by 2030. Luckily falls are preventable. Here are the main things you can do to keep your house safe.These are small changes you can start making now even if you're not over 65 or not concerned about falling. Jason McCullough with Brothers Redevelopment Inc. walked The Now through a house to show some of those changes. The best part is they're relatively easy.McCullough said some of the changes actually start before you get inside the house."Most falls happen (in) main entry areas, kitchens and baths," McCullough said.According to McCullough a grab bar is a versatile tool that can help in any room."They come in a kind of a decorative finish," McCullough said. "This one's brushed steel.  So we usually place these in a bathroom. We'll do a vertical installation for transitions in and out of the tub. And then sometimes we'll also place a diagonal installation so that when you're in the tub you have more safety and stability."McCullough showed how it should look."It's at a height where she can grab it," McCullough said. "It's on a vertical next to the tub. So she can use that getting in and out of the tub, so it's a great transitional stability piece."He said tubs can be an area prone for falls."You have these custom tubs," McCullough said. A massive scam related to COVID-19 that targeted millions of Office 365 users in 62 countries was stopped by Microsoft's digital crimes unit.The department is almost like a police department. There's even an evidence room. It's an office that is only known to the people whose job it is to investigate attacks on Microsoft customers. They're a small group, but they're mighty.Tom Burt, the Corporate Vice President for Customer Security and Trust, said the team is comprised of "lawyers, forensic investigators data analysts, business people."Burt is in charge of the cybersecurity team that goes after cybercriminals. Their job is to find, intercept and then help law enforcement stop the scam artists in their tracks."(We're) looking for things that we shouldn't be seeing in the data relevant to how Office 365 was being used by our costumers," Burt said. "When we see that we can dive deeper, look at the metadata and look at the information that's streaming through our Office 365 global network — to try to find indicators of people doing bad things."The team often uses social media to alert people to the hacks they're seeing.Cybercriminals often target people's fears and anxiety. So, these days, the coronavirus pandemic is a good hook.One of the recent lures was a "cure for coronavirus" or "COVID-19 safety tips" from the Red Cross. The hackers were hoping Officer 365 users would take the bait and click."They're able to get control of users' Office 365 accounts," Burt said. "They can then see what's going on in that account. They can act as if they're you — they can send email in your name and look to find things in your email account like passwords and other information."Burt says the hackers are good. They do research and figure out how companies are structured and who does what. They'll look at social sites and figure out exactly who to target.Some of the scams people were getting involved co-workers asking others to transfer money to an account."They're sophisticated criminals," Burt said. 'They do this work to make sure the requests look legitimate so they can be successful in stealing money."Burt says there's an easy way to prevent phishing attacks."The number one thing by far is to utilize two factor authentication on all of your accounts," he said. "If you're a business,s make sure you're doing that for your business email if you're an individual, make sure you're doing it for your individual email and financial accounts."Burt is referencing the separate codes a user gets when logging on to a website. The site will give a prompt so they can prove that they are.The cybersecurity team says two-fact authentication will eliminate 98-99 percent of attacks.The challenge has always been to find the cybercriminals. So, this time around, the digital unit went around them."We're saying, let's stop them in a different way," Burt said. "Let's take the internet tools that they're using to conduct their crime, and let's go legally take those tools away from them."Court documents from the civil case filed in Federal Court say that Microsoft has the authority to take away the tools the hackers need to conduct their scams."Basically, websites, locations on the internet from which they can conduct their fraudulent activities — whether it's launching their efforts or the place where they want you to ultimately go — we go with the court order to those registrars and transfer those domains to Microsoft control," Burt said.Doing that strips hackers' access and gives Microsoft the ability to block them."We took down the criminal infrastructure that was being used to defraud people in 62 countries," Burt said. "We're going to keep doing that work. We're committed. Its fun, it's fascinating and, most importantly, it protects our customers." 3791
