It was right in front of me. I actually saw the two people that were killed," said Sharon.The victims were identified as 22-year-old Eli Clayton and 27-year-old Taylor Robertson.“I worked my way outside and saw the young man, Taylor Robertson, and he was lying there face down, and we rolled him over to see if he was still alive. I think I witnessed him breathing his last breath," said Sharon.Sharon has been a part of the gaming community for years and heartbroken by the tragedy.“They're kids. They're kids having fun, kids doing what they love to do. They're parents having fun, they're you, they're me, they're everybody. It’s just kids playing a game, nothing more than that,” said Sharon.He has a message for those who lost their loved ones while they were supposed to be just having fun.“They didn't die alone. They died with a brotherhood. They died doing something they love to do, and their memory doesn't die. We're going through this every couple of months. If you go to events like the Barclay's Center or Staple's, you're going to go through a metal detector."Inside, gamers entered their own world, "it is probably the biggest quality of a gamer, to have that intense focus, so everybody was focused on gameplay." Even with the eye of Irma missing Puerto Rico by 50 miles, the storm knocked out power and did damage. As Category 5 Hurricane Maria churns in the Caribbean late Tuesday, it is expected to strike the island head on. As of Tuesday evening, Maria had top winds of 175 MPH and a minimum pressure of 909 MBs. After a night of drinking in Morgantown, West Virginia, Bachman opted to use an Uber.Little did Bachman know that rather than returning to his friends' place in Morgantown, Bachman was on a 300-mile journey back to his New Jersey home, according to NJ.com.According to the NJ.com report, Bachman passed out in the passenger seat of a 2011 Honda Odyssey, hours into his costly journey home. When he awakened, instead of just getting out and be stranded in the middle of no where, he decided to keep going."I just woke up," Bachman told NJ.com. "And I'm thinking, 'Why the f--- am I in the car next to some random a** dude I don't even know?"Besides the accidental 300-mile trip, Bachman had to pay extra because he had mistakenly requested an UberXL, and it was surge pricing.
