(KGTV) — Washington state health officials say a patient has died of the novel coronavirus, the first COVID-19 related death in the United States.The victim was described as a male patient at EvergreenHealth Medical Center, who was in his 50s with underlying medical conditions.The governor of Washington state declared a state of emergency Saturday after a man's death.More than 50 people in a Kirkland, Wash., Life Care nursing facility are sick and being tested for the virus, health officials added. (KGTV) - The stepson of a woman whose family dug her body out of a backyard grave in Tijuana may be in the United States, Mexican authorities said Tuesday. The Deputy Attorney General of Justice in Tijuana is searching for Aaron Seth Juarez, 20, on suspicion of killing Fernanda González Serrano in February. González was last heard from Feb. 2. Her sister Erika became concerned and reported her missing when Gonzalez failed to return phone calls for weeks."Right away, I feel that something is wrong," said Erika.González had shared concerns about her stepson, saying he was using drugs and had guns, Erika said.Shortly after González' disappearance, her husband was treated for a gunshot wound in San Diego. He was reportedly unable to answer any questions.Erika created social media posts requesting help to find her sister. Eventually, she received a horrifying phone call. A 20-year-old man with Down syndrome was carrying a toy gun when he was shot dead by Swedish police in Stockholm on Thursday, according to CNN affiliate Expressen.Eric Torell was diagnosed with both autism and Down syndrome and could not verbally communicate, his mother told Expressen.Torell's family reported him missing after he ran away from home, something he had been known to do before. He had a plastic toy gun with him, which "looked a little like a submachine gun" and was given to him as a gift, said his mother, Katarina S?derberg.Early Thursday morning, the police received reports of a person with a gun in the Vasastan district. After arriving on the scene, they shouted at Torell to "lay down his weapon and lie on the ground," an eyewitness told Expressen.Police officers are then believed to have fired at Torell, according to Expressen.
