SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A teen suffered serious injuries after a firework he was holding exploded early Thursday morning.ABC 10News learned the incident happened at around 2 a.m. in the 5500 block of Montezuma Road, near San Diego State University.The 18-year-old male was apparently holding an M80 when it suddenly went off. The teen reportedly lost most of his fingers and suffered an injury to his foot.The teen was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center for treatment. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A unique way to watch movies outdoors is coming to San Diego's waters.Floating Cinema is coming to San Diego on Sept. 2 - 6, organizers say. Tickets will go on sale here.The cinema will include 12 to 24 mini boats that can hold up to eight people per boat. Tickets will require individuals to purchase the entire boat to make sure groups are seated with friends and family only, and to allow for distancing between boats.Throughout the week, the cinema will screen a mix between golden oldies and new releases that will be announced when tickets go on sale. According to the San Diego Gas and Electric outage map, 1774 people in Old Town, Mission Hills and Hillcrest were affected by the outage. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A San Diego Police officer is showing his gratitude this holiday season after an incredible display of heroism.It was at the end of his graveyard shift when he heard panic over the scanner."It's moving pretty quick, ooohh standby. It went over the… it went over the cliff. I was not in pursuit. I'm going to save these girls in this man.' At the synagogue, 'I'm going to win. I'm going to go home to my family, and he is going to go to jail. and the community is going to be safe.'"
